I'm about to buy a 16-35 F4, for wide angle landscape and street photography. Hoping I wont regret the $ I'm going to spend laugh.gif
*
I was thinking 17-35 f/2.8 would be more versatile for street photography especially when light is low.

Did you try a landscape shot instead? I think it might look better.

not sure about current price now but, if your getting a tripod make sure dont get one is too heavy.  I got the manfrotto 055x ProB and I over estimated my level of fitness LOL once upon a time when we went hiking.
*
I have a 055XPROB too, bloody heavy tripod. Kinda regretted sad.gif Should have invested a bit more for a smaller/lighter CF instead.

any good brand to recommend for the tripod? im willing top up abit if the tripod will serve me looooooooooooooong time  rclxm9.gif
from what i saw at Digicolor got some known brand such as Bronic, Velbon and Fotomate?

could u guys please share with me on what drybox u guys used?
Digicolor offered Brand Wonderful dry cabinet. was looking for Aipo brand since i think there is some discussion about it here last time.
*
RM300 I think can consider Sirui? or there's this another brand... Ahh but I can't remember ._.

I use AIPO 88L... so far ok, except recently had issues with my humidifier, then solved by removing a tiny sponge inside (looked a bit black, maybe dust?) and its working fine now.

Benro! I think... alternatives lor. Last time I started photography I bought this brand called Victory... replica of Manfrotto LOL. I need to take several shots for long exposures and select the best since the tripod isn't stable.

Apparently DxO mark (I might be wrong) takes into account dynamic range and some color stuff for their ISO ratings as well, so yeah. The d600 trumps the 6d in DR, but according to real life usage, the 6D is at least 2 stops better in high ISO (at the price of sharpness though. I don't see myself shooting at 128k ISO anytime soon tongue.gif)
*
I prefer sharpness actually, nowadays noise reduction software is so good so retaining the details is what interest me.

dont know why my lens sometime cant focus properly especially when shooting against the light sad.gif

it is not back or front focus but totally out of focus even though the focus is locked on in the viewfinder doh.gif
*
Normal, I know several occasions my D700 unable to focus lock consistently, but my D800 able to (which impressed me a lot!, but I think 6D with -3EV should be even better). But under extreme condition, both also fail laugh.gif

I don't see significant/noticeable differences between my D700 and D800 in terms of skin tone o_O

Nice try, but you need to filter more strictly... these are blur, sad to say you didn't nail the shot. For panning, be prepared to pan and be prepared to fail. If you can't handle slow shutter, try raising up shutter speed for higher hit rate first.

QUOTE(popcorn513 @ Mar 26 2013, 07:45 PM)
Ya, abusing Nikon vivid, Got good contrast but always the face will be too red
*
Back then I would just reduce the saturation by 2 notch when using vivid tongue.gif

wise choice  brows.gif  brows.gif protector only buy when the hard protector become yellow  laugh.gif
*
I would recommend replacing the screen protector with GGS stick on to prevent dust or sand from getting in between and eventually scratching the actual LCD.
