I using d3100 now but want to have more focus point and faster auto focus (since I like to shot on random people and sport etc)
Should I get a second hand d7000 or just wait for new d7100 come out?
When d7100 come out will d7000 price drop?

This is will be my first camera upgrade, and plan to get a prime lense for portrait shot after that

Random shot with d3100 70-300mm

Anyway do you guys heard that BG MB-D80 can boost the fps of D90?

I just notice good comments for the D300...consider best for DX body? *I used to thought of D7000 =.=......discontinued already right? the price almost similar with FX body last time shocking.gif

Nikon covers international warranty. Is that true? That means the lens that I buy from U.S will be covered? but why got the existence of grey set? hmm.gif
*
erm... so far i hear macam US only take warranty from US... then EU takes from other as well due to some law stuff... not sure lah... but normally is international rite...

Bro, use spoilter for huge photo ><.

In order to check aperture blades, at the lens mounting there, you will find a small piece of plastic appearing from a hole beside the metal connector pins....just move it and check. it is a switch where you need it to wide open your aperture hole and check for fungus.

Sharpness is brows.gif , bokeh is on another level too brows.gif but I preferred the 85mm's range + color... so I took 85mm back then.

Also because I was on DX... so 135*1.5 is kinda.. too tele for my taste:P

actually for my line of works - i love to use the D90 (my trusty crop sensor brows.gif ) + the 85mm. in halls, mosques, big big areas, it just delivers. so 85 x 1.5 = approx 130mm. so i figured that if i wanna use FF for maximum bokehness feel, 135mm is the perfect match. so there i bite the bullet tongue.gif

but CY got a point - color wise it even loses to my 85 1.8G (me no haz 1.4G like u sad.gif )

but so far, so good. cant wait to fully utilize it this weekend! thumbup.gif

D90 really is a good DSLR? I am using it. Duno i am still newbie or what, I duno how to utilise it...always get photo that is lack of sharpness if use the extreme side focus point...

and 11 focus points like not enough or flexible for me to point and headshot with different angle for full portrait.... sad.gif

So noob. doh.gif Need advices.

I lack of time and guidance to learn post-processing, digital blending, HDR etc.... just simple WB, exposure adjustment. cry.gif

Usually I just do centre focus and reframe, some time may lose focus but I find it faster that way.

Wokay...any flaws or special operation on the D90 nature? Is battery grip really helps in shooting? I find it too exotic for just to grab. Feel want to get ori one but as secondhand. I heard third party BG do actually pull down our shutter speed? isn't?

Wow, so many of you supports for 85mm f1.8G, gonna try it if I have the chance...

The 50mm f1.8D has lesser distortion and vignetting, colour very nice and sharp. My gf prefer 50mm over 35mm duno why. Perhaps she feels the bokeh and colour is nice.

35mm wide enough to take 3-5 people, fast in focussing, sharp, but duno why overall colour still lose 50mm. I read reviews that 35mm have distortion, vignetting occurs at big aperture (lower number of f), darker colour toning at the side.

I have tried 50mm f1.8G, superb fast and silent focusing, darn sharp if compare with 35mm f1.8g. I duno why too...thats why it makes me dilemma in choosing 35mm f1.8G and 50mm f1.8G as their secondhand price is almost similar. But I chosen 35mm because of is focal length, I don't need to stand so far to take portrait photo.

Perhaps I consider replace my 50mm f1.8D with 50mm f1.8G.... is that wise and worth? any reviews from sifu and pro?
