just installed my vip20 unifi at my apartment house, need your opinion on my speedtest below, is the ping acceptable?



btw, this is thru wifi..not yet test thru LAN cable..

from your speedtest result, can see that you are using time dot com..crazy upload speed, but why the download not on par? so the 100mbps is like that?

guys, anyone else experiencing major slowdown? above is my speedtest back in june 2013, now when i do speedtest i barely reach 1mbps range..im on vip20 btw.

just wanna check is it just me or others are also same??

good news, i have finally solved it..speed back to normal now..20mbps.hehe.

see the issue is with the router going haywire, it looked like its okay but actually it isn't. not after i reboot it only the problem got fixed.

first of all i was doing some tinkering with the router settings (just normal changing of channel for wireless and setting of DNS to google's) these past few days, but it looked okay at first. then after a while it got really slow and i checked on speed test, ping was almost 100 every try and speed like 0.85 only (normally i get up to 20 just so u know). then i noticed the isp name there in speedtest result, it was TM adsl something2..not the normal TM isp for unifi. then when i go into router settings, sometimes got popup say hardware init error..thats when i think about rebooting the router..and luckily that fixed the problem..

so for those getting unbelievably low speeds, u can try rebooting the router and see if it helps.
