Did anyone of you ever get a call from the number 03-41414141? I googled it up and the number seems to belong to a debt collector...should I just ignore it or should I answer the phone?

QUOTE(cloudstrife07 @ May 15 2013, 01:10 PM) seems like it, not only torrent, all of my downloads from ftp can't reach 300 KB/s btw, are there any ''service disruption" announcements from TM recently? This post has been edited by ComposMentis: May 16 2013, 09:31 PM |

QUOTE(randnum23 @ May 17 2013, 05:23 PM) Sup all, just need to confirm something on this . If i want to terminate my account , i just need to pay RM500 only ? not RM500 + (months left in contract) ? Sadly i have to move out from my rental house. Thanks in advance. Yes, you'll have to pay RM 500, as well as outstanding bills (if any)QUOTE The minimum subscription period (or contract period) for UniFi is 24 months from the date the service is activated. If the service is terminated before the 24 month period is over, customers have to pay a termination penalty of RM 500 which will be reflected in the final account bill. http://www.tm.com.my/unifi/home/Pages/contract-terms.aspx |

QUOTE(kennysik88 @ Jul 13 2013, 01:30 PM) Nope..jz vip5 plus one channel add on only..as u can c another member here was offered vit de same price rm169 oso.. Oh ok, I called and they said RM179, I then told them the price I saw and they forwarded my inquiry to their marketing department and asked me to wait for their call, which leads me to think whether there's miscommunication between their customer service department and marketing department or they do it intentionally to trip up the unaware users |

QUOTE(yoda @ Jul 13 2013, 03:33 PM) I checked with them. If you called them and asked, they will tell you RM179. Usage as in little monthly download? Ah hah I guess that pretty much explains why I didn't get called for this, my payment history has been horrible from the start RM169 is only promo to select customer with good track record (payment +usage). You can get RM169 only if you received a call from them. Hope that clear things up |

Strangely when I called to upgrade (RM179) just now they also told me the promo is for ''selected'' customers only, weird

QUOTE(Neptern @ Jul 13 2013, 05:07 PM) Agreed, it's freaking lame, if this is true then I'd say over 90% of unifi subscribers are not eligible for this offer This post has been edited by ComposMentis: Jul 13 2013, 05:16 PM |

QUOTE(mypie @ Jul 15 2013, 12:27 PM) my sumup is like this, I upgraded two days ago and I was quite surprised with how fast they process my request, restarted the router 10 minutes later, voila 10 mbps.if you call them = 179 if they called you (because you had done the contract and need to bound you with another contract)= 169 Now the problem, TM said it would take 2 days to process the upgrade and it look like they didnt manage to do it even after 5 days. If let say I call them to check the status of my 169 upgrade, what should I say, because whoever called them automatic become 179. Their CS dont know about the 169. Now just sit and pray they process my application. About the pricing, both prices they also say is for ''selected customers'', ya right, I called and they approved my request. |

QUOTE(keretapir @ Jul 16 2013, 03:46 PM) got a question here..probably it's stated on the website, but prefer to ask personally from you guys.. are you still under contract? if yes then RM 200 will be imposed on you when you downgrade, correct me if I'm wrong.how much is the downgrade fee? i.e. i'm from VIP20, downgrade for few months back to VIP5...anybody knows? or is it still at RM100 for downgrade package speed? QUOTE(gin&tonic @ Jul 16 2013, 09:59 PM) I think RM169 is a mktg gimmick. Not many will get it. Spoke to 3 CS & non are aware of RM169 package. Yup, I called them three days ago the CS was also unaware of the 169 package, and forwarded my inquiry to the marketing department and told me to wait for 7 working days for their call |
