hi great to hear that unifi already include the astro supersports... however, is the hypptv mega pack include all sports channel and the newly anticipated Astro Supersports? if yes, i don't mind paying RM50 instead of RM30... just RM20 different i got to watch so much more channel right...

kindly enlighten....
*
RM 40 for that single supersport channel.
RM30 for both supersport channels and other sports channels

and guys i dont get it, if you already have it on your Assteruk, what for get it in hypp tv?

TM fu*king cheated me!
When i want to view the super upgrade deal's terms and condition before I upgrade to VIP 10, the PDF does not load up.
Then I was like OK, it can be sorted out later I think so I upgraded.
Then after that I call TM how to get the pack, guess what they told me: LIMITED CUSTOMERS ONLY.
At night I finally can check the TnC and it says must give a call to upgrade in order to get the free tv pack. =.=
what's the difference weih?Phone and online also its official customer service what, I didn't upgrade with an agent also.
Later I mau flame their CS liao la.
Lied to me twice.

UPDATE:Called CS and they say they will activate it . But when I check what's worse is that HyppTV is pixelated.

right !!

TO summarize:

1) You can take RM199 VIP10 with free Platinum pack of your choice. TM valued this as RM30/month so your affective rate for internet RM 169
2) You can request for upgrade to VIP10 @ RM179 per/month, You will get basic HyppTv Channel. No obligation for platinum.

3) TM special offer to SELECT customer, RM169/month for VIP10 with basic HyppTV. Unless you get a call from TM. don't bother
*
what if i already took up the free package?
can i still get option 2 price by cancelling the free channels

Thanks but it didn't work. I googled and try this:
username: operator
password: h566UniFi

Surprising it's working. It's werid since i don't remember changing anything.
*
you shall definitely update.
although you wont notice any difference, still you will be happy with a bigger number! Haha

and the password is default as it was set by TM.
its better to change it.

I moved to a new place. Landlady tells me its RM 90/month for internet so i thought its 512 kbps but for dloads i get 1mbps or sometmies 2mbps speed...

i want to upgrade to unifi but first need to know whch line i am at now so how to find out?
*
that should be phone line .
installing unifi requires drilling a hole to run the fiber cable into the house.

QUOTE(victorian @ Aug 5 2013, 06:16 PM)
Hey guys. Need some help here. My iMac couldn't detect my UNIFI wireless network once in a while. I have to reboot the router in order for it to work again. So yeah I did some research and stumbled into this thread:

https://forum.lowyat.net/topic/1961854/all

And most of the users said that the UNIFI router is crap and recommended the TP-Link TL-WR841ND router. And so I purchased myself one just now from Lowyat for Rm 79. Replaced the UNIFI router with the TP-Link, and I followed the step by step to set up a new SSID. And after I rebooted the router, the WAN wouldn't connect. Tried again and again but the problem still persist. Finally I give up and use back the UNIFI router. Anyone with similar experience ? Mind to share with me since the guide is pretty old, the firmware in the guide is 7.2, I bought the one with 8.2. So i'm not sure if the step by step still applies. Thanks.
*
try and play around the channel settings.
i recommend you flashing custom unifi firmware and not the stock firmware.

Do I have to reboot the router every time I change the channel setting? The router is already unifi-enabled. The guy at TP-Link told me I don't have to update the firmware because the one in the market are already updated
*
if it is den no need, no i dont think you have to reboot everytime. If it needs to reboot it will do it,yourself.
check for some other channel as there may be a certain channel used by ur neighbor's router

Hi all Unifi users, does TM do manipulate ur speed to very slow during day or night time? I mean when downloading, torrent & etc.

Coz Maxis fiber nw throttle our users downloading speed when 8pm - 2am which is relly sux.
*

I also received call to upgrade from VIP10 to VIP20 and i agreed. I received email that i successfully upgraded

However, my download speed in Steam is still the same around 1mb when i was VIP10

Is there any way to check if i successfully upgraded? Else, i will call them and make them have a moody festive season
*
restart BTU and router.
i also found it out slow when i upgraded from vip 5 to 10.
called tm to get assistance and they say a restart will do the trick! But in the end it worked! Awesome!

this is so not fair, I only get RM20 discount instead of RM30
*
u didnt take the hypptv isnt it?
Option 1:One free HyppTV package
NRP:RM249+RM30=RM279
Discount Price=RM249
So internet price :RM219
HyppTV:RM30
Option 2:Basic HyppTv
NRP:RM249
Discount price: RM229
RM 20 discount only for this option(weird)
Option 3: Basic HyppTV(selected customers only)
NRP:RM249
Discounted price:RM219
Obviously option 3 is the most preferred one but its for selected customers only. But i bet you took up option 2.
I took Option 1 so i get RM30 discount
Thinking of upgrading to VIP 20, is it worth it?
