Did you terminate the telephone line manually or TM did it for you automatically?

Will they take back our modem? I bought the new modem (the old one is spoiled so I have to fork out money to buy a new one) at TM Point myself.

I called them up, told them about my problem.
With Hypptv off: DL 10mb
With Hypptv on: DL less than 3mb.

How hard is it to understand my problem? Dunno what shiat they diagnosed. One mangkuk asked me to use pakai lan sbb lan lagi cepat compared to wifi.

Why they so stupid? I told him off, you must be ridiculous. Modem in the hall, laptop in my room, you want me to connect lan and use? lol
Now they said they'll forward the issue to their network people

I am quite impressed with their after sales service. Made complaint at 5pm yesterday, 2pm today technician came over to fix the problem.

He did his best, all is back to normal now, but he said no guarantee because building cable/copper wiring is messed up.

Hi, currently I'm subscribing Streamyx 2mb. But i wanna change to unifi 5mb. here are some questions i have:

1) at the registration website, it gave 3 option which is whether to terminate streamyx only, terminate streamyx n phone line, maintain all 2. if i choose to terminate streamyx only, does that mean i have 2 telophone line in my home?

so does that mean i have 2 bill to pay? one more thing, my existing phone line is included in my streamyx bill (flat rate to TM fixed line, 10sen to mobile), if decide to maintain it, what is the rate then? btw, TQ for ur quick reply

anyone encounter the when HYPP TV machine is turned on, the internet connection straight slow like hell?

Guys i installed unifi on 23 May and today 16 Jun i receive the bil total amount Rm274.. can i know how come they charge so high? i tot it was rm150?

It is confirm Maxis la. I had the same shit people calling me too when I was upgrading my streamyx to Unifi.

Chain of events:

1) Applied for Unifi online on 18th May.

2) around 1~2 days later, someone callled me. Said he is from Tmnet and called to "confirm" my service order, and I told him yes, AND he has my details(know i just applied for unifi, my IC name and my contact name which is used in the unifi online application form).. So I really thought he is TM people..

3)Now is the shocking moment, he then ask me do I surf more or do I also need the IPTV, I told him I surf more THEN he proceed ask me why not take Maxis Fibre 10mbps, same price as Unifi but x2 the speed, bla bla bla.. I lazy talk to him because I already did my research and i already made my mind to go with Unifi. So I just straight away told him dont need, then he was like ok ok, we will send technician over in few days time to pasang, then end of convo.

4)1~2 days later, this time female calling me, and this time is the real "confirmation" of my online application.. The lady confirmed with me my online application and proceed set up date and time for installation.

5)1~2 days later unifi technician came and install. End of story..

Unanswered question: How did they get my details and know i just applied for unifi, etc. I thought all those info should be for TM only? How come 3rd party got access to it?

Anyone can help me out here...

For the past month, every week there will be a day in which my internet would be down. HyppTV working fine, phone working fine, but not the internet (globe icon on the router amber/orange).

So far it has happened on the 3/6, 8/6, 20/6, 24/6 and then yesterday. To resolve, I have to call up Unifi and then they will do a 'network refresh' for me. They will ask me to turn off my BTU / Router, wait 15 seconds and then turn it back on. When I do it on my own, it doesn't work.

Every time I call them up, a different answer - it is 'normal', 'sometimes it happens', others say router issue, cable issue etc. and then yesterday's one was just plain 'it is normal'. Some said my username/password got hacked or used by someone else, but how is this possible when I already disabled my wi-fi broadcast and been using cable 100% of the time.

It is so annoying. It seems to happen every week. The same thing. I wonder if it is my D-Link DIR615 giving problems but how can it be so when it is them to have to refresh my connection from their side only then my internet works again. I'm just baffled, seem like there is no permanent solution...
