would like to ask the lowyat sifus, is there any way to actually solve "the volume bitmap is incorrect" issue happening to a hard disk?

currently facing it now, and from what I've been reading, best solution is to actually get a new hard disk.

Have you run chkdsk yet? If the problem keep coming back, it could be the drive is failing. You can then sent it for RMA, or try to zero fill the drive (takes a long time)

Run chkdsk /f command and check your hdd with HD Sentinel (trial - http://www.hdsentinel.com/download.php) to see if it's really is failing..

or the issue probably just caused by bug.
