Knight,

Must gibe you award for effort and enthusiasm rclxms.gif
I was toying with the thought of asking Chang3rd to ask his papa to post the pix so that we can go on with the game. Of course, it's not necessary now.

Promise the next theme is one round where those who don't post will kick themselves. So it will be a question of who gets in first.

Go away from this thread and you will regret it!

Now Everyone Can Post
(Please excuse me, Mr. Fernandes, while I borrow your lines.)

-Ever been late by a second and someone else beat you to the post the last pix of a theme ?
-Discovered too late that you had a pix hidden somewhere in your archive that fits a theme ?

Agonize no more; now's the wildcard round.
Pull out those pix and gain some points.

Some guidelines:

1) you must not have gained any points previously in the theme that you are now choosing.
2) For reference, pl indicate:
Theme & Post No where the theme was first mooted

Here we go:

Theme : Reflection
Post # : 283

lanevox, your picture looked like a sun biggrin.gif

Yeah, it is a moon which looked like a sun because your shutter speed is too slow tongue.gif

Here is mine, taken hand held tongue.gif

LanX...is it me or what....how come I no see no pix ?

The other night I was wondering what setting to put to get the moon. Finally, got one on 300mm handheld.

Actually, what setting would work well for moon shooting?

best is to use spot metering when shooting moon because the main object is the moon. If you don't use spot metering, it will usually give you slow shutter speed because the sky is black. Of course, if your lens can fill the whole moon in the frame, then no need spot metering biggrin.gif

lanevox, you can always cheat smile.gif
Just for testing only, dun know whether work or not. At night go indoor and point to your room light and then half press - then go out and shoot the moon biggrin.gif Make sure you already zoom smile.gif
