Analysis by me

The average speed of Kelana Jaya LRT from Taman Bahagia to KL Sentral is 39.7 km/h, over a distance of 10.2 km.

Based on alignment map, the distance between LRT station near Taipan (Station 8 of Kelana Jaya line extension) and KL Sentral, probably...

10.2 km + 1.25 km (distance between KJ station and kilometre "0" of the extension) + 9.5 km

Total distance would be 20.95 kilometres

Suppose, the average speed of LRT is 36 km/h (in my opinion a conservative figure based on possible curves), that means....

LRT from Taipan to KL Sentral probably 0.582 hours or roughly under 35 minutes.

Yesterday, it was 20 minutes.

However, during non-peak hour weekend, I noticed the train moves slower.

LRT is fairly reliable, unlike KTM.

At tight curves, normally LRT travel around 30-something km/h.
