even if there is watermark but its still need to check carefully coz grade AAA also now have watermark inside the wash label. there is something else beside the wash label that will prove its authentic. like font on the wash label, coding at the collar tag, etc smile.gif

Hi..

Last weekend, while steam ironing my polos.. realized that the quality of FP is deteriorating. It was a breeze to steam iron the RL/BS/Hackett polos but FP was a hassle. And the material is really rough compared to the others.

Am i the only one experiencing this?

Anyways, these are the normal m3600 not MIJ/MIE and purchased via a trusted seller here in LYN with the laurel watermark and all..

Any thoughts?

*not suggesting that they are fakes but trying to comprehend the situation better  yawn.gif

Asked this in a different thread. Any thoughts?

If the fake ones have the laurel watermark.. online purchasing isn't safe anymore.

You can't depends on one aspect to conclude its authenticity, there are other factors as well such as the label, laurel, craftsmanship etc.

Indeed there're fake FP with laurel watermark inside the wash label circulating the market as early as late 2012.

I agree. The point I'm trying to make here is.. we now buy via LYN aka online. We can only determine the craftsmanship only when we receive them, meaning post purchase, no? Getting a refund will be a long drama that I would like to avoid.

2012? Which means, there could be a high possibility that the FP's we've been buying online are fake, as we've been relying too much on the watermark. Damn!

i agree. that's why i don't like to buy online. if i can't see them first, i'm not entirely sure they are genuine. anyone heard of Melwani's? they sell past season's stuff; a little defect but good. so far, i've been to their sales 3 times and the service was very good…got some nice stuff there too. i totally recommend this place if you're in KL.
