hi , i wanna ask , my nexus 7 was rooted

1) why stick mount cant recognize my unicode/chinese name files, it disappear in file explorer after mounted...While Nexus media importer able to see those files.

2) why viewing file thro usb otg, system cant help me use other installed player to open those media tat stock player cant open...eg i cant open raw image in file explorer by rawdroid, i can only open it by open rawdroid app itself , but can open avi movie by mx player in file
explorer....it is vy troublesome to check my raw photo in sd card..

the problem still exist, only 1 of my pendrive, other pendrive no such problem, chinese files can opened in nexus media importer while cant in stickmount--any file explorer


but in my rom, es file explorer does "weaker" in term of grab " media playing priority" compared to fx file manager and stock cm file manager...eg, when i mount my usb storage and start play a song fr fx file explorer, if i change es file explorer to open another song, the player tends to resume the previous song i played in fx file explorer.. i tried on different player, other player worsen as it stopped or not responding.

So IMHO, fx file explorer and cynogenmod stock file manager is superior than es file explorer, while for audio player, rocket music player is superior than stock apollo and es music player..

and fx file explorer can modify system configuration too with root add-on...

* new found: es file explorer can associated with other app like pc quite well, eg raw photo viewer

Hi, im found solution for 2) issue, es explorer + rawpal gallery lite, it show thumbnail of all raw photo beside each photo

..vy good for viewing raw photo after capture alot especially for those low-resolution dslr

*ps, rawpal gallery lite dont associated properly with cm stock file manager , fs explorer nor astro file manager

ooo, i got 2 problem ma...chinese name file is 1st problem, 2nd problem with raw image settled ald and im shared the solution for who wish to know in future...

For 1st problem, i meant song with chinese name will not appear in my file manager, meaning tat it just like deleted, but in fact it does exist and able to be viewed in computer and nexus media importer only...

But this problem only applied to one of my pendrive, my other pendrives and sd card dont have this issue...Mayb is pendrive problem but i wonder why it show different behaviour in different apps...
