Anyone having problems with Facebook App itself and Facebook related apps?
Eg. Facebook App, linking Facebook in Line app, 3rd party Facebook apps I have restore the N7 to factory default, yet the problem still happens. It's just a simple problem: 1. I can't see anything in the Facebook App. The 'loading circle' just keeps spinning & spinning after login. 1a. Sometimes it will show "Network Error" 2. Any app that tries to link with Facebook in any manner will have similar behavior infinite "loading circle" 3. Even 3rd party Facebook app, after logging in with will have that infinite loading circle... Have tried deleting cache etc, uninstall, reinstall app. Even factory restore the N7 still same. Is it just me or... Running 4.2.1 JB - Not rooted (Stock) Hope someone can give some pointers of help This post has been edited by andrew9292: Feb 7 2013, 03:26 AM |

QUOTE(AmmoShaf @ Mar 18 2013, 01:25 PM) Tried franco and motley kernel before, got some minor problem. Then decide to go with m-kernel, so far so good, the best i had tried. you could tell by the feedback and how fast that thread is growing in xda. today new build is out, downloading. What were the minor problems you faced? I'm using Franco-r48, having problems with battery info. Altho i'm clearly using the tablet with screen and wifi on, it doesnt register properly at the battery monitor only intermittenly. Half of the time the table is awake, screen and wifi on but it appears like this... doesnt affect battery time /performance tho.QUOTE(BlackWoods @ Mar 18 2013, 04:46 PM) I'm also using M-Kernel, performance is not bad, but battery is just like Stock kernel, I wonder how people in XDA achieve over 7 hours of On Screen time. QUOTE(AmmoShaf @ Mar 18 2013, 04:51 PM) Underclock maybe. Have u tried to underclock? I dont want to sacrifice performance just to get a 1/2+hours of extra battery life. Underclock will help but will reduce performance to some extent, undervolt white retaining stock clock speed helps most. Best to -100mV as a start, then slowly tweak at -5mV increments per try. When it's all stable for a day at least, then you can turn on 'set on boot'.Then try to disable all unused stock apps or those google services and auto-sync for sosial networking software or games. Should give you at least half to 1 hour of extra time... I can usually get 8+ hours of battery with my config, screen at it's lowest brightness. I also find that using Dolphin browser is much more smoother and less battery consuming than using the latest or stock Chrome if you browse alot. Disable stuff like NFC, turn on wifi-optimize, turn off network notification(auto scan), unnecessary widgets(clock), use a black wallpaper, turn off touch and keyboard sounds, useless 'gesture typing' etc etc and should be able to get at least 7hr screen on time imo. Well, i hav to use matte screen protector cuz my finger will somehow 'auto oil' even 5 min after bathe. Yucks right? lol!
Anyhows, to those wondering, 40 - 70+C on the Tegra3 is normal. TJMax is 99C ; Thermal protection shuts it down at 100... Throttling will start around 70 to 80C depending on the kernel used Juz for sharing, using paranoidandroid rom + m-kernel mr1 + trickstermod with aggressive experiments to get the best undervolt + rootdim to dim screen further than stock + other app and software optimizations = great batt life, at least 7 hr screen on imo.. Never lost any performance with stock frequencies => N7 is great => This post has been edited by andrew9292: Apr 1 2013, 12:39 AM Attached thumbnail(s) |

Nope, warranty does not cover user inflicted damages unless you can convince them it has been so since the day you bought it...
