unless it's an ipad mini, which i tested holding, touched the edge of the screen, the hand did not register.
not sure whether it'll affect gaming experience or not...

Press the turn on button, hold your Nexus 7 in portrait, tap on the side screen of the Nexus (sharply).

I got into fastboot mode. lol. The screen now seems to turn fine (after meddling with dead screen, pixelated, bzz bzz screen for half hour.

Now the big ass battery icon (charging) come out. Hopefully this fixes everything.
Well, even for a cheap product, it should last longer then this. I barely have it for a year.
