good morning uncle benny. Thanks for the tips. I believe I have done it before on another device, changing the ro - rw thingy and then edit away. But I have forgotten how. I read your suggestions at 9am but til now I still couldn't get it until now. I have downloaded a lot or root explorers or root browsers. None I see where I can click on the rw thingy as you suggested. I am rooted and gave supersu permission to all the explorers, browsers. Attached is 2 of my screenshots.

Actually I dont understand what you mean by " downloaded a lot or root explorers or root browsers". There is only ONE root explorer app which is a paid app and you can download from playstore
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?...3RleHBsb3JlciJd

If you have been using some other crack version, sorry I cannot help you
When you launch root explorer , you will see the samll box "Mount R/W" : just tap on it and you will see "Mount R/O" and than you can edit your files

Nexus 7C has arrived! No screen lift, no dead pixels, no speaker problem. Says "Made In China Date 2012 12" on the box label.

3G and wifi working well. I can report that in an area where my SE Xperia Pro gets 1 to zero "bars" of wifi strength, and my Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0+ gets 1 bar, the Nexus 7C has 2 bars. I'm impressed!

Does anyone know where I can get an official dock for the nexus 7? I want to get the one designed by Asus.

Any info will be greatly appreciated.

Just fyi, if you're into custom. Some ROMs have screenshot option on their power button selection screen. No need to try n error

Nothing to be concerned unless it goes above 55 degree centigrade

Got my Nexus 7 last Thursday.

Was pondering between the meMopad and nexus 7 and in the end opt for Nexus instead. Never regret the decision. wub.gif

Single core A9 vs Quad core A9. What you say? laugh.gif

Btw, looking at review, that memopad got even lousier screen than Nexus 7. Wonder how it looks like laugh.gif

Its not about the cores. Its about the overall value.

yup. only a LCD screen compared to Nexus's IPS screen. Something like watching Astro football on a plasma HD ready TV back then at mamak stalls before the explosion of full HD LED TVs.

Even the overall value is lower than that of Nexus 7 IMO.

Take 32GB Nexus 7 WiFi-Only for RM820 from Newegg. Will take that N7 32GB anytime over Memopad.

It's not just about hardware. Software supported by Google is another aspect to be considered.

Anyway, just looking at hardware, I'll go for Nexus 7 also. One is mainstream chipset, another one is a chipset never heard before. What you say? laugh.gif

The core and the gpu itself cant beat Nexus 7 actually sweat.gif

The LCD screen is awful, from what i saw in the review, though it is better than Acer Iconia B1
