Sorry I didn't read the Hotel Helang part tongue.gif
talking about place to stay, I am looking for it too and the 1st page didn't give any tips about this. But I read through this thread and there were many recommended places that makes me cannot choose anymore!

But I found this:
http://www.langkawi-resorts.com/toptenhotels.htm

And langkasuka is in the list smile.gif
but Aseania and Malibest looks nice too, but many got bad experience there.
Still looking........

I take a look at their websites, and I think 9 of us would have no problem if we go for budget resorts. As you suggested Malibest looks nice from their websites and it is only rm120 for 1 room with 4 beds!

BTW, I found one more place, beach garden Resorts at pantai Cenang, any idea of this place and how is it compared to Malibest?

So these Beer Garden and Sunset Beach Resort is better than malibest, right?

Looks like TS can put all those accommodation stuffs listed by Putraskyline at 1st page biggrin.gif

*p/s: looking at their websites, malibest room's look better than beer garden.

Or izzit different price if we book through websites / through phone / walk in?

I try to book two rooms in Malibest through Journey Advisor.
Plan to go there early July. They reply I only can book for at least 3 months earlier.
Hopefully by April the room is not fully book yet, looking to stay at Malibest because of cheap and big room.

I'm going to Langkawi this coming July, together with eight of friends and we're looking for a place to stay, a place that clean + cheap + happening. Thinking of renting a bungalow if there is? For resorts I'm thinking of malibest, what do you guys think? Suggestions are really welcome.

What would be the best choice, whether I go to Langkawi without booking.. just walk in or book in the internet first?

So the price should be same as advertise in the website?
