i just went there last week and the staff said hanging bridge will be reopened only in december. Try calling this number 04-9594225 to find out.

Btw for mangrove tour i got it for RM100 (without lunch). Very good deal. Have to negotiate with the guy abit. Here's the contact: Bidin - 012-4762055.

As for car rental, can negotiate alot with the car rental services at the airport. You could even get a lancer for less than 200 for 3 days
