is there any new version??

tried to run the client, no patch or nothing but it says wrong version.

For beginners, it's recommended to go ahead and do the tutorials that comes with a starter character. The tutorials will give you a brief guide on how flying spaceships works in EVE as well as a general feel of the different things you can do in EVE. From there onwards, it's advisable to join a corporation which will teach you the basics of the game albeit skewed in the path they have selected (for example, a mining corp will teach you how to mine more effectively or a PVP corp will teach you how to fly your ships in combat). There are a lot of newbie friendly corp out there like "EVE University".

As you're new, you won't know what you like yet in EVE. So my advise will be to try different aspect of the game as much as you can. In EVE training the starter skills for each "profession" is generally quite easy so instead of "specialising" straight up, go explore the world.

Join "KOPITIAM" channel and feel free to ask any questions to the veterans there and they will be more than happy to help you out.
