My laptop keyboard is getting dirty and lot of dust stuck inside.
Can anyone tell me if the small electronic vacumn is the most effective way to clean up the dust inside the keyboard?
And how much is it around?

Thanks for your answer! rclxms.gif rclxms.gif

Go get a flexibe silicone keyboard like mine...although it needs sometime to adapt to it but its very easy to clean...i jus wash wif water instead of vacuuming it. No need afraid to type while eating cuz i can wash it anytime tongue.gif

If the vacuum is USB powered then I say you'll waste your money and time. I've tried 1 and those vacuums are useless. It can't even suck a speck of dust. The most efficient way is to get a brush.

I got one of those USB vacuum thingy for free and guess what, it's WORTHLESS. You can't suck anything up with that low powered motor.

Or just use a moist cloth (not too wet, remember!) and clean the screen as well as keyboard with it... You can then see the amount of dust gathered on the cloth... I tell u, it will be very dusty!

your right, even the high powered vacuum with 1200watts cant even get all the dust, but if you use a brush tip with vacuum that can get the dirt thumbup.gif

Thanks for your guys suggestions.
I would try to use a brush,a clothes or car vacumn to clean it up.
I not dare to shake it because I might spoil the laptop :-P

I think you better not shake the laptop... U know lah, these types of PC have small parts that may be sensitive to hard shakes and once these items are spoilt, you'll have to go through the hassle of repairing the PC...

Give those methods a shot to clean your keyboard up lor... One of them should work for you!
