I asked for Home Membership at FF, and if you pay by Credit card it's about 156. I think the cheapest you can get at CF is 139. RM16 difference but I like FF more

Pretty sure. Just got billed for the first month. Are you paying using credit card or cash? Cause I'm pretty sure paying using cash is more expensive but not sure how much.
I just asked for home membership price and she gave me 150, with tax and all should be about 156. Some of the sales rep are just out for your money. Last time I wanted to join (few years back), the guy refused to offer me anything but passport for RM200. |

Yeah, maybe it depends on the gym
Im annoyed with one of the trainers at my gym. Ugh, said to my face that I'm wasting my time doing BodyBalance and that if I want to lose weight I should be doing cardio only (I do cardio 5-6 times a week, resistance 3-4 times a week, and go for BodyBalance class once a week). If do cardio only can lose weight, I cancel my membership la.. go lari at the padang at the back of my house. |

Probably.. but I've seen and smile at her quite a number of times while doing cardio. Could've at least asked before jumping to conclusion. Not only said it to my face, the next day talk about it some more behind my back. Ugh. She said losing weight isn't fun, so I shouldn't be having fun with my workout -___-

I saw some salesman selling the 29.90 voucher near Fitness First Manulife... but that was last week. Not sure if they would still be around this week.

Eh I think the vouchers are for unlimited access to the gym including all the classes. My friends purchased them.. I'm already a member so I'm not eligible.

QUOTE(afosz @ Jun 26 2011, 03:03 AM) But the thing is that, it has been I think a month since my registration. In the first week, I attended the first 2 sessions and never came back to the gym ever since due to unable to commit. maybe you can find someone to transfer your membership to? are you paying by cash? I have two friends who just stopped coming, but I feel it's kind of bad lah -___- and FF won't stop calling them of course. |

they paid by cash.. so they just stop coming lah. never paid, never come. that's why you get cheaper rates if you pay by credit card, you don't come pun..every month they will still charge you.

QUOTE(whale1987 @ Jun 26 2011, 02:56 PM) So ur fren took the 12months contract thingie, and one day just decided dont wan to go? so since they paying by cash, they wont have the hassle of contacting FF regarding their termination? yup..but of course la FF called them non-stop for a period of time :/ Haha thats good, anytime can quit since paying by cash i think it sucks that they give different rates to different people. wish they could be upfront about the fees and less strict on the contract... gives them a bad reputation. |

Yea, there's one or two changing rooms in the ladies' locker room.. but I've also seen some girls who change in the shower stalls. Most girls walk around in towel in between showers.
Tell your friend everybody goes to the gym to get healthier anyway, so even if she's overweight she shouldn't let it stop her from going to the gym and using the facilities (shower/steam/sauna etc) |
