Why do you think they are staring at you? Either you're too 'perasan' thinking that other people are jealous of your physique or you are doing something wrong?  tongue.gif  Don't bother about other people. Your first and foremost reason of going to the gym is to attain your fitness goals. Period.

lol theres nothing to be jealous about my physique. Sometimes boring also ler go alone. At least if got work out partner everytime I go, can talk this that and can help each other workout, can share opinion. more fun. icon_idea.gif . I know my foremost reason is going to the gym to attain fitness goals, but would it hurt to have some fun? I know you got damn nice body already la, people all stare at you like you are king of the gym. flex.gif laugh.gif

what the heck!! I also feel the same too. Working alone is damn boring. However, it saves your time too, becoz u don't talk a lot during workout..haha.

Too bad...I am a local passport in Leisure Mall. If not, I sure join you one.
*
A lot of people actually feel the same man...just that u never feel what they feel there actually lol. I see in the locker room not many talk to each other. Mostly all mind their own business and stare cock at each other lol. Maybe next time I go, I will make friends. It's better to spend a lil more time there having fun while working out than just go there maybe 30 minutes, three times a week and u paid RM149 per month rclxub.gif

PS: look at celebrity fitness thread, got people feeling alienated laugh.gif .

Fitness First got student price arr??

Got. Rm108 per month. but limited hours, only can go at 10am to 5pm. if you wanna join, that time u join must pay RM411 which is admin fees, reg fees and 2 months fee (first month fee and last month fee) (which leaves you paying only for the next 10 months later) Better to sign up for the Home Package, can go anytime you want, RM149 per month. pay RM419 the time u register which is admin fees, reg fees and 2 months fee (first month fee and last month fee) (which leaves you paying only for the next 10 months later). Home package means u can only workout at one fitness first branch. There is the passport package which is around RM200 per month, this one u can work out at any of the fitness first branch u want, at any time.

Ha ha ha...I'm also a newbie FYI. For my 2 free PT sessions, I questioned the PT on all the possible questions in my mind in order to achieve my fitness goals and also to know how to use all of the machines/freeweight station. And no, I still consider myself an ectomorph and don't have a nice body, yet  tongue.gif I don't care if ppl stare or what, they can stare all they want....we are all on a journey to achieving our goals. So far the progress is good, but it will be a long way to go...
*
haha everyone also dont really care if ppl stare what, but people still do stare whether you care or not, that's just something i wanna tell everyone here only, i didnt say if they stare at us we can die one tongue.gif . Sometimes people do stare, but they are not thinking about anything, they are just resting their minds by looking at you and looking around at other people. But go to fitness first, pay RM149 per month, if all you do is just go there 45 minutes work out then go home, so introvert some more, a bit waste money la. Go there if can make friends, what for become introvert doh.gif . It's just like saying you go to expensive private college, pay RM5000 per semester, target is to get all As / Distinction for exam and not make friends, dont care about all the other people in your college doh.gif . Selfishness. No offense la, but just wanna say that making friends in the gym won't hurt us and there are benefits to it also. Who knows you might end up making friends with your future hot atheletic gf/wife there in the future rolleyes.gif

hey iliveunderwater..sorry bout saturday as i didn't have enough sleep and was feeling pretty shity and i decided to rest instead..

i'll be going to FF the curve again this saturday at around 11am-1pm.. come look for me if u're around.. i'll be at the squat rack.. biggrin.gif
*
Hey, carlsuen, I didn't manage to go workout with chris at his gym on sunday because I fell sick. So I didn't get to learn much of the moves yet except for the one that the pt taught me, but i'm still not very confident if I can do it alone yet.

Is it possible for you workout with me on the weekdays this week, because I need some help learning the moves like deadlifts and the rest as I'm still new. Asking for the pt to help me will only make me end up on the treadmill first cry.gif and worst, machines!! . You working out on the weekdays also right this week? Is it possible for you to bring me in to wherever you work out at on weekdays, or maybe u can spend a lil time at the curve? really need help notworthy.gif .

Yea wasted, suddenly fell sick, dont know why, could be allergy, my room is kinda dusty. I should recover by this week. Hope can find someone to teach me on the weekdays this week, if not maybe i'll just do some of the workouts that I know on the weekdays and wait for carlsuen this saturday. Are you still around this sunday or back in malacca already, Chris? The PT put me on smith machine when I asked him to teach me squat last time doh.gif .

Yes can transfer, but only if you talk to the right people, like for celebrity fitness last time, I wanted to transfer my account to my sister in penang, i called up celebrity, the staff who answered the phone say cannot, but luckily, my sister's friend knows the celebrity fitness manager and she let us transfer accounts, but got charge one...RM99 sweat.gif ...suppose to be RM99 + another RM99 but i get discount, i think cuz my sister's friend knows the manager well. sweat.gif luckily.

Chris / Carlsuen, I'm kinda having diarrhea right now, not sure how, it might be the side-effects from the antibiotic that the doctor gave me for my sickness the other day, it might also be from that HL milk I drink quite a lot (that lactose intolerent thing? rclxub.gif ). I need to stop drinking HL milk and taking antibiotics from now on. Are there any other products that I can consume to replace HL milk? any alternatives? for gaining weight. Or just eat normal food only also can? will the result differ later?

Also, My dad says that because I didn't want to drink the HL milk cold, the fact that I took the milk out from the fridge and left it outside the refridgerator for 1 hour or more, the milk becomes spoil and bacteria will react, would that be the cause too? I was coughing so thats why I needed the milk not to be cold.

This is what I found in Wikipedia about Alternatives for Lactose Intolerant people.

QUOTE
Alternative products

Reduced or entirely lactose-free products (using milk substitutes such as soy milk, almond milk, or rice milk) are available allowing lactose-intolerant people to maintain approximately the same diet as those who are tolerant, without having to purchase medication or significantly alter their eating habits.

The food industry has successfully managed to create low-lactose or entirely lactose-free products to replace the regular items, without loss in quality. Lactose-free milk can be produced by passing milk over lactase enzyme bound to an inert carrier: once the molecule is cleaved, there are no lactose ill-effects. Alternatively, a harmless bacterium such as L. acidophilus may be added, which affects the lactose in milk the same way it affects the lactose in yoghurt (see above).

Finland has had "HYLA" (acronym for hydrolysed lactose) products available for many years, even though the number of lactose intolerant people there is relatively small. These low-lactose level cow's milk products, ranging from ice cream to cheese, use a Valio patented chromatographic separation method to remove lactose. The ultra-pasteurization process, combined with aseptic packaging ensures a long shelf-life. Recently, the range of low-lactose products available in Finland has been completed with milk and other dairy products, even ice cream, that contain no lactose at all: the remaining about 20% of lactose in HYLA products is taken care of enzymatically. These typically cost 2-4 times more than equivalent products containing lactose. Valio also markets these products in Sweden.

Many countries have similar product lines, and new consumer products continue to become available. In America over recent years (1990-2000) there has been a notable increase of available lactose-reduced and lactose-free dairy products; examples being cottage cheese, American cheese and ice cream.
