try kesas at night especially tues and wed... lots of ppl cycle there... make somr friends along the way

usually no lar... no gender discrimination.. in fact, i believe they will be very inviting, if you know what i mean...

there will be some fast groups and some leisurely riding groups... aim for the folding bike groups... usually just out for a stroll and sometimes might stop at the bus stops at sri petaling or maybe even under the bridge near the kinrara exit to wait for people... the folding group is a mixture of young blood and ah pek's...

cheap or expensive bike is not the point, it's all about a common interest...

else, get to know a bike shop near you and see if they have any rides you can hitch along... preferably nearby your place...

But most importantly, a friend from the UK, with a steel bike with an ancient 6 speed groupset, can cruise with an average speed of 25mph. Me with a 10 speed Tiagra, lighter frame, not even close.

And another uncle, sub 2k bike, wins me.

So upgrade engine before I even look at upgrading bike.

In the mean time, upgrade rider's looks also with Oakley or Rudy Project.

we just talk only... never ever buy one... hahaha
