I only have a 5mm spacer under the stem and another 5mm under the stem cap. Didn't slam it, but i kept on chopping the steerer tube until i have only 5mm spacer left. No roads to regret now. |

Thank you in advance changing seatpost length affects nothing unless you are talking about moving your saddle higher up... and i doubt that helps with anything other than making it worse for you... we don't know what you are riding (MTB or road bike) and it is hard to advise, so..will try to blanket cover all the possibilities... i suggest the money no involvement method first by lowering your saddle if it is not already to low for you... if that doesn't work, you can try to shorten the stem length or move your handlebar up if you still can move spacers down below your stem so you can sit straighter rather than leaning down...this however involves some investment to do so... or you can try googling bike fitting and read up more on that subject as it could be general positioning problems for your current setup.... |
