yup~ the 2011 Snow Storm hit us when we right in Te Anau and depart into Milford. We are the only campervan cruising along into Milford and everything is white, snow thick as 6-10 inches, supposingly we are not allow to drive on that kind of condition, but we already half way thru... no turning back...
*
Oh well, the most important thing, the end result, which was worth the drive, right?

Last I was there was 2007 or was it 2008, couldn't remember. Went back to Wellington just last month and made me recall how friendly the Kiwis and how beautiful NZ is even though it's only the North Island.

Penang lang eh? Wa pun si Penang lang. tongue.gif So I suppose the Sunday no cars to city centre thing has actually made Penangites more keen into the cycling culture/lifestyle ay?

My relatives have been telling me the sudden influx of cyclists in the state itself, which makes me wanna bring my bike there over the weekend just to enjoy cycling around there and buy char koay teow.

BTW, don't worry about spending 2.3k or something, you will soon forget it, sim teah one time, but the end result, better than buying a car where you have to spend a lot of money once your 1 year old front adjustable absorber fails you. C*B**. Makes me wanna just give up on track driving and concentrate on cycling.

That being said, who wants to cycle to klang for BKT? tongue.gif

read properly lar... i said ask gh or gin huat see if they can ship it up to their dealer in penang... there is a specialized dealer in penang operated by a fella named lim...

p.u.k.i.m.a.k
let's not hope... the recent honda sports car is a huge disappointment... FD2R is shit if not for the K20AR and CRZ is a eco friendly shit box that can't corner well...

so, f@k honda for it also pulled the plug on F1...

NA2 is already expensive... NSX-GT... the kit i believe you can buy lar... or wait for the idiot ichima san to crash his turbocharged NSX-GT or fake NSX-GT and you buy it off him...

NA2 Type-S was RM800k last i saw some 5 years ago in naza...i think it is still very high priced now... even the NA1 if you see in classifieds are still easily over RM150k...speed cut, 280hp limit.... not interesting at all in the world of stock 500bhp r35's
can, go steal it like nicholas cage in gone in 60 seconds...
in bukit mertajam.. quite far away i understand....
looking at how many hours it takes to fly there.. i already give up even before i can get on the bike...f@k it...
call cassie directly lar... much faster..

Tel: +604-588 3537
penang got cycle lanes in the main town area already right??? they did the whole campaign for a lane thing... you got go back and lend your support or not???

f@k track driving... it's a waste of money... it's like trying to jam 50 naked dudes into a small sauna room and they will be rubbing sausages there... f@k SIC management... they are stupid for charging so much for public track days...

and f@k adjustables... stock abs rule...every turn you feel like capsizing...wat is the point of driving on the limit if you don't feel on the limit of killing yourself right... no adrenalin rush, then no point...

i think of BKT everyday... as much as mila kunis...
*
I think the FD2R hate is mainly due to the 4 door nature eh? I love them because they can transport bikes tongue.gif

The campaign, I should be going

BKT when???? I want and I am hungry

the campaign is over lar... BKT... haiiihhhhh....i dunno...

FD2R 4 door transport bike... not so much when you put scratches on the interior of a RM200k car that should actually be worth no more than RM130k...aunties will see it as a normal Civic 2.0 auto in white color...

i don't mind being given 1 though...
*
There is this other one, registration starts from the 18th of April iirc

BKT cycle interest list please

racelite compared to giant mia should be about the same eh?
dont really get specs other than the the gears. aha
need alot of help here. so sorry. giant compared to merinda same range? how do they fare?
*
3.6k eh? Okay, I know I shouldn't reveal this but oh well, in PJ, I got quoted at around similar price range for this. 2013 model, not 2012.

http://www.scott-sports.com/global/en/prod...er-20-cd20-l56/

But itchy backside me, I couldn't wait for my size so I settled for something more expensive.

You have to take certain essentials into account as well

Helmets for your head

Cycling shorts/bibs for your crotch

Jersey(I did not buy when I first got mine but the back pockets are really useful)

Saddle bags(For phones, tubes, tools)

Tools especially tyre lever(very important)

And not forgetting air pump as well as tubes(about 15 bucks only la)

There are certain things you might consider as well.

For a cheapo like me, I settled for the cheapest shoes and cheapest clipless pedals but then again, those are optional

Glasses, took me another few months to order one

Gloves, did not bother but after a few long rides, the cramp and stiffness on your arms may make you consider wanting to go for those

Bike front and back lights, LED especially, don't save on that if you are really riding at night, I spent 70 bucks only to realize that it was not bright enough, now am looking at some LEDs ones.

Bike computer, pretty important and being the cheapo me, I haven't bought any but I was lucky to have a friend to give me one of his wired cateyes with cadence, haven't installed though tongue.gif

what are tyre level or what are the other needed tools? air pump as in the handheld one?
im wearing glasses so do I still need shades?
gloves no prob the bicycle computer can i replace with a android app?
*
I only buy tyre lever cause I have my other tools at home and my bike's relatively new so what the heck, I'm a cheapo.

Tyre lever = user posted image

In case of puncture, u need a tyre lever to remove the inner tube smile.gif

Shades and computers are not really necessary, shades for me are more aesthetic than functional.

Computers are for me to see my cadence, I'm using iphone now to track my time and speed but in the end, I realised that your cycling cadence is more important.

we are not pressurizing you to buy a bike or anything... there is no point to that as we don't earn anything from doing so...

even if you need reviews, a simple google of "[bike brand model] review" could give you more data than you can mine and crunch down...

but if you continually keep on widening your choices and not narrowing it down...it will be a difficult choice for you to make.... typically big brands like trek, felt, bms, specialize will produce same spec of bikes but price it slightly higher than the likes of giant and merida due to the brand name...
*
bms what?

anyone using this? doing survey

I discover this thing call EPOS Tape, a type of Kinesiology Tape.
I found it very useful for sports activities like badminton, futsal, gym.

U know what, I never thought of buying a convertible but this.....

Then again, an Elise is a track car, I respect the owner for taking this step though.
