my phone broke, and the authentication app that i downloaded was linked to the account. After i re download the authentication app on my new phone, it cant work on my account, and my account cant log in.. Any idea on how to restore back my account?

Can email blizzard and ask them to help remove the authenticator. They will require you to email them a document identifying you as the owner as the account. For me, i just scanned and sent them my IC for them.

do u have the backup code?

you should have keep the restore code that app gives you when first time install

so in case if your phone lost or broken, reinstalling app and activate it again with the code will bring back the authenticator that was linked to your account

if you didn't

you may need to contact blizzard customer service for help

ya print screen your restore code n keep it in your desktop. i was lucky enough to had print screen it. my hp was formated n realize

i got print screen.. but i kept the photo in my phone. Stupid me...

u can just reset it thru battle.net

1) click login
2) click cant login option
3) click I lost my authenticator and I want to remove it from my account.
4) Click remove authenticator
5) They will send you an email to confirm
6) once reset just enable it again through battle.net

i have done this more than 8 times per year due to my itchy hand flashing custom rom on my phone every month.

one more about authenticator. is there possible to have 2 phone to have the same authenticator?

yes. I have it on my phone, my nexus 7 pad, and my desktop emulator
