QUOTE(Zavia/GenX @ Sep 22 2015, 08:37 AM) 1. Long term rental growth. Don't talk about 1 year. But the likelihood of rental after 5-10 years will be higher than now.2. The installments you pay actually goes to interest and principal. The principal amount goes into your account and you actually get it back/lowers interest cost. 3. Gotta put Capital/Property appreciation in the equation. If you cover interest and gain 20% in property price after 3 years, why not? |

True I didn't put point 3 in, but generally I prefer to have the rent cover the interest and principle. If can cover the other maintenance and what not costs, better (but not too hopeful on that tho).
Then can close eye n not worry about payments. I follow my parents style, if got good tenant, 5 yrs baru raise rent so initial rental is important to me when getting a property. You all more income than me kuaaaa. |

QUOTE(poilam @ Oct 15 2015, 01:11 AM) I think Hyve's location is good compared with many others. It is next to Shaftbury. I love the makan places there. At RM270k, it is still cheaper than Shaftbury condo which is just next door. I bought an unit in Block A, 450sf for my daughter who is studying in MMU, for her to rest in between lectures. |
