Steam update, then do manually patch la. Copy from steam and paste? It could work, but I can't guarantee.

to launch the game itself you need to go trough steam.

Why need Gayrena anyway? It's frigging Free-to-Play.

Well, I'm just saying. There are potential coders out there that could do this kind of stuff. Steam itself is good enough already.

i dont see the reason to do so, if it did, im sure valve will force down gayrena anyway, since dota 2 is free to play.

I hope they will enable LAN mode soon. Its easier to play with friends using LAN.

You can still login as offline, but must first time log in online, then you can offline next time

Gayrena is a stupid Singaporean company with stupid Singaporean programmers who don't keep their client in good condition. I hope their company goes down in flames. Don't ever associate DotA 2 with them, or we'll have a repeat of the HoN fiasco.

1. The reason why DOTA2 shouldn't be play in Gayrena is becoz of the poor user moderation, it will totally destroy your gaming experience.

2. Gayrena does not live up to it's reputation, look at DOTA1 for instance, zero or low user moderation, players hack, moderator not doing their job, biased and stuff, go to their forum for the drama and you'll know how messy it is right there

3. Level/score scaling, up to now all the scoreboard/leaderboards are based on all players in valve, if dota2 is playable in gayrena, what will it be like?? we got 2 separate scoreboard?

4. Hacks, I wouldn't be surprise if players from gayrena dota2 level up their profile easily, even LoL and HoN has their hacks.

5. Money, Valve gain the profit from selling cosmetic item/courier/tournament passes of different heroes, what will gayrena will be able to do? no place to generate revenue, so why would gayrena want to run dota2? perhaps some little ads going on but I beg to differ

Hopefully the LAN is coming soon. Playing with friends in CC is much enjoyable.

There probably won't be LAN as DotA 2 requires internet to run, no offline mode iinm.
