Try updating to 6.0.2 first and see whether is there 6.1 or alternative you can try update thru iTunes

i see.. say if i update to 6.0.2 is there any risk that i might not be able to jailbreak later?

what is OTA? sry noob here

OTA = Over The Air

means your device updated directly from your device via internet, not connected from itunes or through laptop/computer

no problem, noob or anything just ask, im sure someone will ask.

actually i dont notice any battery issue on my iphone 5, perhaps i am quite astound with its battery performance.

perhaps because it was a big jump for me, from iphone 3g to iphone 5.
