I'll monitor the outcome with my normal usage 1st. If not need to fresh restore instead of restore from backup.

Somehow i feel that this 6.1 drains more during usage but better battery saving during standby. Today is the 1st time i didnt need to charge my ip5 for 24hr since bought it during launching

Not sure whether previous version has this feature or not. I just found out that if i open the apple maps, on the 3D, set either satellite or hybrid. Then select one of my save bookmark, it will go to that place, tilt a bit(since in 3D mode), then the map will rotate 360 deg. Did you guys have this? It didnt happen for current location of searched location, only my bookmark. But tested on my ip5 friend, but didnt rotate. Try checked in the map setting but found nothing.

After update to 6.1.2 & jb. I think my high battery drainage remain the same, eventhough i use my company exchange email. I guess no diff at all from 6.1. Didnt mind that much bout the battery usage.

Not sure bout the 3G connection issue. My ip5 only prob so far is battery drain & so far i think i can live with it.
The major (or i would say only) improvement for this 6.1.2 is the 3G signal. Most of the time full bar, before this either 1 signal less or same as my wife's ip4s signal. And i would say i rarely experienced full bar strength before this. The best part is, i have a stable 3G signal when i'm home now. Normally it either o or E. Only about few times a month my ip(5/4s/4) will show 3G, & thats only for few mins. Already download ipsw file for ip4s, will do my work tonight & see whether the ip4s will get better signal too. Even the speedtest showing high 3G speed.. Really happy now... This post has been edited by decavalera: Feb 20 2013, 09:09 PM |

QUOTE(coconutzz @ Mar 20 2013, 10:08 AM) IOS 6.1.3 is out! Quite funny cuz in only few days, there seems a way to overcome the item no 1....--------------------- Notes : 1) Fixes a bug that could allow someone to bypass the passcode and access the phone app 2) Improvements on Maps in Japan ---------------------- Anyone tried yet?
