I am using maxis and I too encounter this.

what I notice is when switching from wifi to edge/3g. Maxis service take longer to obtain a workable IP. during these process if you try to surf it won't able too until the IP are secured.

Actually I'm pretty happy about I5 battery lifespan. today turn on 3g for 5hrs than purposely do some movies downloads to drain the battery for an hour, still remain of 34%.

Yea bro i know that, but the fact is i feel like connecting to 3G is vital as i wont go to places where wifi are abundance as well as i dont like to share wifi with others doh.gif

Well let's see what 6.1.3 will do on the 3G issues as well as battery @.@

BTW, did any1 of you experience 3G lost during a phone call ? or Edge lost during a phone call? I mean when you call anyone, if you notice, you will see there is no any 3G, GPRS or Edge beside your carrier.

Yes! I notice that too but after hung up the phone call the 3g will be back in action.
