QUOTE(ilyas_jamal @ Oct 29 2013, 11:30 AM) well it depends on how you define safe / fuel efficient.. well for me i do travel 50-120kms on a daily basis..with a 35liters of fuel i can clock 550-650kms (or more).. it depends on the route and traffic.. for me comfort wise its OK for me as i always travel alone.. but if u do ferry passengers where will me some "issues".. yup with my math calculation 35 liters is around there 650km...but if normal NA car can do 390km... same here always commute using 1 seat. sometimes sent 1 child to parents house. wife already have car and working opposite direction to my work... just that does it really difference fuel consumption during traffic jams if to compare with NA car? QUOTE(ilyas_jamal @ Oct 29 2013, 12:18 PM) i used to drive an ek9.. 50RM of fuel can tahan only for 350-400kms.. always prannggg prangggg.. hahaha.. well a hybrid wins in traffic coz got auto stop but that only contributes 5% of fuel saving (based on my ilmu hisab).. 5% is still saving right.the longer the jam the more saving we get...when count for 24 days(everyday jam) its alot ...im confident it can save more coz it needs skill to do it...the dash teaches us how to drive fuel saving so it helps a lot..with b18c rm70 I can go 400km only...praaaaaaang always...

QUOTE(ilyas_jamal @ Oct 29 2013, 02:22 PM) Nitrous SUPER LIKE.. hahaha.. well comparing with the cars that i have drove before.. mostly is the same FC as from what i am getting.. so it really depends on your driving habit.. but i selalu kena cucuk with MYVI.. sigh.. drive slow or fast they can keep up with our crz.. yup...it depends on your foot actually...what im seeking is the fuel saving for town...since im wasting most of my fuel at town so either 1.5 liter car or buying a hybrid. but with hybrid advantage to other NA car is it teaches us to drive fuel save. if NA cars u wouldn't know how much u save the fuel...by revving the car only to 2k rpm...it doesn't mean u save fuel totally... conclusion, yes if to save fuel prius is the answer...but to enjoy the ride I think crz better as it offers manual..

QUOTE(Nitrous @ Nov 1 2013, 11:10 AM) Age is not a factor, I m late 30s, and I have a colleague who bought the CRZ for his wife, they are 50-ish now. It is whether the car suits your life or not, and not the other way round. Never be a slave to the car, coz at the end of the day, its just another tool. If your pocket is deep enough for a weekend car (with a spare normal 4 door MPV/sedan for family use at home), then by all means please go ahead. Most people who have CRZ will have more than one car parked at home; and people who have only one car, usually it won't be a CRZ due to its impracticality. Sometimes, for the sake of the family, racing blood will have to be put aside, most petrol-heads I know have to cast their car thoughts away while they bring up their kids, or until they are fit enough to get a second spare car. Good luck! yup, of course need another car at home. already have mpv...so I guess i'll go for it...thanks....

QUOTE(ZeroSP @ Nov 8 2013, 12:09 AM) Of course an AT or CVT will be limited in performance upgrades. Such as you cannot boost that high using SC kit therefore lower gain. Or a minor mod like changing extractor, the MT will gain much more than the CVT counterpart. But then in return, CVT do return slightly better FC. and cvt can't withstand high pressure from engine power boosted. manual can still change clutch plate...cvt??? i don't think so...

QUOTE(AveoHzq @ Nov 8 2013, 12:13 AM) Really like the MT much better, especially bcs im planning on a lot of mods in the future. But im just not used to being stuck in jams with a MT, so took the AT instead. Do you know how much tyre shops take if i want to trade in the standard tires and rims? I also stuck in jams...everyday....morning and evening...really stressful...but i chose manual...coz previously i drove car with racing clutch now that's nightmare... manual have extra HP thn CVT...but cvt is more fuel save no doubt...but i think manual can too but need to be more discipline when pressing the pedal...and need skill to shift the stick... QUOTE(ZeroSP @ Nov 11 2013, 08:34 PM) Yea... But didn't really dream that far, a full exhaust system + sprintex + hondata + 17 rims + bigger brakes = good enough to enjoy around Watched those 300hp in Japan tracking Tsukuba bisimoto created a 500+++whp crz..now that's a real monster..Japanese manage to do 300bhp only...

QUOTE(AveoHzq @ Nov 12 2013, 05:27 PM) Still waiting to get my car. Theres only 1 problem keeping me from collecting the car, which is the number plate. Cant decide whether to just get the normal num plate, now W XXXX F or interchange with my old car. But got alot of summons there -.- for me plate ending E, F, G not so attractive...why not wait for H... E...like u got an E in ur test....F sure is for fail....just my 2 cents...

QUOTE(Naka7a @ Nov 13 2013, 10:37 AM) better to go for more usable power on the street right? i'll be happy with under 200bhp street car... as long as it's all useable. ur right..if can get 1000hp what for in Malaysia.....traffic jam at all places...200whp is just nice...but who gets the 200whp earlier is the winner for roads like Malaysia....

QUOTE(be7a @ Nov 14 2013, 07:51 PM) if you drive it few times you will know which the best time to push s+ button...its not like KERS in f1 it gives more hp like 50hp....but crz its not. it just control your WOT to response faster. to get instant power some say just switch to sport mode...some say just drop gear..... some prefer eco mode all the time...want to climb hills or make a pass, press s+... so all in all, need to drive the car first...get to know how the system works...then you know what to use...
