well it depends on how you define safe / fuel efficient.. well for me i do travel 50-120kms on a daily basis..with a 35liters of fuel i can clock 550-650kms (or more).. it depends on the route and traffic..

for me comfort wise its OK for me as i always travel alone.. but if u do ferry passengers where will me some "issues"..

i used to drive an ek9.. 50RM of fuel can tahan only for 350-400kms.. always prannggg prangggg.. hahaha..
well a hybrid wins in traffic coz got auto stop but that only contributes 5% of fuel saving (based on my ilmu hisab)..

well comparing with the cars that i have drove before.. mostly is the same FC as from what i am getting.. so it really depends on your driving habit.. but i selalu kena cucuk with MYVI.. sigh.. drive slow or fast they can keep up with our crz.. 

Age is not a factor, I m late 30s, and I have a colleague who bought the CRZ for his wife, they are 50-ish now.
It is whether the car suits your life or not, and not the other way round. Never be a slave to the car, coz at the end of the day, its just another tool. If your pocket is deep enough for a weekend car (with a spare normal 4 door MPV/sedan for family use at home), then by all means please go ahead. Most people who have CRZ will have more than one car parked at home; and people who have only one car, usually it won't be a CRZ due to its impracticality.
Sometimes, for the sake of the family, racing blood will have to be put aside, most petrol-heads I know have to cast their car thoughts away while they bring up their kids, or until they are fit enough to get a second spare car.

Of course an AT or CVT will be limited in performance upgrades. Such as you cannot boost that high using SC kit therefore lower gain.

Or a minor mod like changing extractor, the MT will gain much more than the CVT counterpart.

But then in return, CVT do return slightly better FC.

Really like the MT much better, especially bcs im planning on a lot of mods in the future.
But im just not used to being stuck in jams with a MT, so took the AT instead.

Do you know how much tyre shops take if i want to trade in the standard tires and rims?
