Well not sure, it was said that the lock is positioned to low, so when you press the brake pedal, you will find it a bit difficult since your shoe / slipper might hit the lock lol. Since you have installed, do you mind taking a pic of the lock installed in your ride smile.gif That would give us an idea how low it is lol. Thanks alot Bro

tongue.gif sweat.gif doh.gif

Actually crz M'sia don't have many things.
2. No auto fold side mirror during on/off ignition
3. No freaking auto lock
6. No alarm buzzer

This is where aftermarket support comes in laugh.gif

To think about it, even top spec Elantra don't have side mirror folding options.  brows.gif

biggrin.gif 2 , 3, 6 can kaw tim , all plug and play module thumbup.gif

elantra , yup, dont have motor inside, additional few hundred needed for them

for CRZ , just add 1xx to getthe autofold function

my mistake... actually, the one i am talking about is a different locktech.. didnt see closely... i used it in my Civic FD.. it cost me about 500+. it not the same as the one you see... the key hold is not on the part where you pull, its separate, part of the main shaft and the key itself has lots of holes. where as this one the key looks abit more like normal key.
*
Now outside post pic later . But 500 is still overprice haha

how thief proof are these locks...?
*
QUOTE(thirumaran @ Apr 17 2013, 06:52 PM)
Yes, I would also like to know ...
*
Those who came and take a look on how this lock works would know , no use of us claiming how good it is isn't it?

rolleyes.gif

Second , if not a pedal lock, can you think of something else better to share with all bro's here? what sort of security system you think would suit your ride better?

thumbup.gif

Third , there is no 100% thief proof security in this world, all we can say is , there are many CRZ on the road, if you are a thief , would you prefer to choose a car with a pedal lock to steal? or a stock car?

Ask this simple question and think again wink.gif

At the end of the day , worth investing this money or not, is up to one personal choice icon_rolleyes.gif

Those who are worried about the old design auto lock which requires to tap one wire

Now , there is one 100% plug n play , not even a wire to tap ,availlable for CRZ hehe
