why be so negative? KL now has population of 8m ( incl illegal immigrants) and post EC can expect positive announcements from Gov which will boost investments and tourism. We have this mindset that our property prices are astronomically high and beyond the reach of our young generations and not without valid points.

The amount of corruption and illicit outflow of funds from our country are major reasons. Think about it, Msia ranks second only to PRC in the whole world in illicit outflow in 2010 ( ie US28B)!! If only half are kept within our shores, imagine what this would do to our economy. On other hand, our property prices are actually lowest in the region vis a vis Spore, Indon, Thai.

With the major infrastructure projects ie MRT, TRX, Iskandar, ,Merdeka tower and maybe high speed rail to Spore, our country will see a major boost in terms of foreign investments. Bear in mind also our Property investment rules are very foreign investor friendly now versus countries like Sgp, Hongkong in terms of tax and conditions.

As property investors, missing these points means missing potential opportunities.

Sorry, it should read US64B in 2010 and not just 28B.

i understand ur meaning of population...but can these population support all these properties? all these are not mean for most of the population ie illegal immigrant...and lower middle income like me....no way we can afford this expensive property...

anyway...time will tell...maybe i am wrong...hehhee...

The mall or not is not finalised.

This project has unique things... like a very big performing arts centre. Private one... like those in big cities i.e. Hong Kong. LOL

The question is: Are Malaysians ready to live like high-income nation citizens? LOL

Those working class who cannot afford to buy property in metro area must afford to pay rental let's say RM3,000 to RM12,000 a month. BOLEH? BOLEH? BOLEH?
