1) Wajia CPS - when u release foot brake, press the accelerator on D, the car will not move at all. All of a sudden, the car take a big leap, or better to described as JUMP forward. Very uncomfortable ride. I tried several time to make a smooth launch, in the end I had to drive it like an FLX CVT. I had to release brake, let the car creep forward until pickup speed, then gradually increase speed by gradually increase accelerator. Low end speed was HORRIBLE! From standstill to 30kmh was the pain in the butt. Everytime when I WOT as & when ayam ready to sprint, the car felt like a Kancil 660 running with 5 adults. However, after pciking up speed, from 40km & above the car behave quite normal. Car is quite comfortable, it feels like an old E36 Bimmer. Minimal body roll, quite comfortable ride. As long as you don't stop the car, its not a bad ride after all. Uncle say for RM80 petrol can drive between 300-350km consider good FC wor

2) I took the Satey out for an hour, wanted to buy food. Got a good reason to hijak the car due to compact size, easier to squeeze paking. From Silibin to Ipoh town, I managed to scratch its undercarriage 3 times! I've driven many VTECs from the 90s, from D16 single TEC all the way up to H22 twin big TEC, I must say Campor CPS is kinda weirdo. From 3.5krpm to 4krpm felt like an ON/OFF switch. It feels like below 3.5k 20hp. Above 4krpm 120hp! Its a hothatch car, ayam not expecting any ride & comfort from the car. Knocked my head twice getting in the car. I supposed it wasn't an enjoyable ride all the way to town area. On the way back, owner took over, clearly demonstrated how should we DRIVE a Satey CPS properly. He launch the car by semi-declutch, 3krpm clutch spin until around 2.5krpm, but very soon the car pickup speed then he went WOT. I didn't managed to time it, but my mind timing was about 8 seconds from 0-100kph, quite amazing experience as my cousin didn't use 5th gear all the way back. Most of the time engine revving speed was kept between 4k - 6k. Car speed was not fast compare to traditional VTEC, but agility wise is pretty good. I'm impressed by my cousin, cause he managed to heel & toe to keep engine revving speed within power band. I tried several times heel & toe on the damn car, but still ended up jerk until vomit blood. I surrender.

3) Damn the throttle lag in Peroga is like taking forever to move the flap a bit. It has the similar feeling as the Wajia CPS when the first time I release foot brake & hit the accelerator. However, I think the car sprint better than a Wajia CPS. Its quite comfortable to drive around the neighbourhood. Frankly I think the 4AT is very comfortable and suitable with the engine. It felt just nice as RPM reaches 2k, I don't have to adjust my throttle it already change gear. On Lumut hiway, I was doing 80kph, wanted to overtake a lorry ahead, I slammed on the gas pedal & guess what... Nothing happened it took its own sweet time to drop gear, spin up the torque converter, then only slowly increase speed. At this point, its obviously no fight compare to the old Wajia CPS

4) My naphew got his FLX manual few months back. The father claimed its the most useless piece of junk he bought in his life, but since the crap car is for the freshgrad kid, its supposed to be crap so the kid will understand & cherish a Honda Civic Oh well, naphew said the car quite crap to drive. He has never done more than 110kph, mostly town driving. I didn't really whack the car, but generally show him how can he appreciate the car, he seems not really care. Whatever crap parents planted for children, that's exactly whatever crap they will bear. He's expecting the father to change to FD2 soon(which is exactly what my cousin told). No point to review la in this case. After 1 round at the near by taman area, I returned the key and walk far far liao. Anyway, I felt the FLX is more steady compare to my BLM. Body roll was minimal, but definitely more noisier than BLM. Is it the engine cover? Also, ayam not sure whether its placebo, somehow I think road noise is quite obvious, may be its because of the prejudice of knowing FLX doesn't have bitumen treatment. Other than those, the best part of FLX is the gear box! The shifting mechanism, each transmission is clearly defined as if there's an H gate between each shift. Compare to BLM slorppy gear change is heaven & hell.

5) So, we've got 5 adults 2 childrens in the car. As I start the car, I heard the engine sound, I thought I'm in GaGa I slammed on the gas pedal, it felt like . . . Errrr... Wanna move now? Ok wait ar... Then the car slowly move forward it doesn't feel the Cam Profile Switching AT ALL. It just feel the car gradually move forward. The under power feeling already preset in my mind, so ayam actually not putting much hope in performance anyway. Nothing so special about this car. Its big and quite comfortable MPV for that price. Despite the huge arse tall body, but the bodyroll is very acceptable. Braking wise is marvelous in my opinion. The pedal action is quite soft and sensitive compare to my BLM.

As I asking permission whether I can put my hands on the Perve, he said the car got turbo, very violent wor, afraid I can't handle it wor. My other cousins, unkers and naphews all standing there show him our "impressed" face Anyway, later the Satey cousin invited that Perve cousin for a drag race, he say no point aint wanna race with non-turbo wor. My other unker said that family is like that wor, even last time the father of that Perve cousin also same pattern, brag like no tomolo wor. Test drive session ended due to some sohighness look peeper no up mentality. Nobody know what I did to my own car, only saw my hello taxi parked around the konar

Speaking of KNN, reminds me my 1st engine mod in my life. It was the good old Mazda 808 1.3 SOHC engine running on twin timing chain. Engine was so heavy until I pissed off, went seek help from Mazda club Ipork. The koey teow master offered me his used KNN UFO top mount open pod for 8V carburetor, for the price of RM30. The very first moment I ditched the standard air box went KNN, ady kena poisoned. The suction sound like tap water pipe PSSSSSSSS damn cun. As I rev high went WOT, sound changed from ***** cat to roaring tiger butt dyno +50hp immediately. The car is still damn slow, having hard time to overtake a 3ton truck I just don't give a damn on my speed, all I care is make it roar! That KNN triggered octane reaction in my blood at my very young age. After that, Mazda RX2 was using rotary engine, no choice but to KNN again. Corolla KE20 sprinter(old trueno NOT levin) oso went open pod by converting to KM36(liteace) induction kit, again KNN possession. Then the following all cars I owned went open pork, and preferrable brand is always KNN.

However, lately I'm not so branding bias anymore. Any performance filter can put a smile on my face liao. I just couldn't spend so much on the car, especially for similar function yet KNN need to pay doubled the price. So happened I bought the Simota for GaGa before I met the cheap KNN, otherwise I would hae just stuck with Simota for a very long time.
