Was just at LYP earlier today. Noticed that Cycom is selling Opty 165 at RM1,350. Good price.
Stepping CCBWE 0602BPMW. Anybody knows whether these are good clockers? |

I already did. Not many results since it's pretty new. Thus, wanted to check whether any LY forummers hv tried it.

well, if u were going to buy, then juz get em'..
as we all knew, opty has a very high OC' ability amongst all amd chip as its was build for a server processor. it should has the good memory controller same as others opty.. IMO |

hhmmm its best that u buy it and find out how it performs.
if u aint happy with it, sell it off but all in all i think it shud overclock well |

Hmm, thanks for the tip but I think I will hold off the purchase just yet. What little results on the net seems to indicate that it's not much of a clocker.
Will wait for the next stepping that emerges. |

I've never ran it at stock. But 1.4vcore 2.6ghz. 24 idle and 41 load, my ambient /room temperature is around 20c. your gonna be much higher since malaysia is so much hotter. This post has been edited by woody: Apr 12 2006, 08:03 PM |
