Sim received and activated (You can call the Sim's number to know whether it is activate or not. If said "not in service", then it is not activate yet. If said "cannot be reach at the moment", then it is activate).

The speed in my area is increasing (Kota Kinabalu) this month, maybe is because of the LTE service which is just available ??

Normally around 5- 10 Mb/s , sometimes even lower than 5Mb/s .

Share my speedtest result with you guys, of course bought the package from TS. My location is Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, using Huawei E398 USB modem.

This is the best result when I received the sim card.

And this is quite strange, the speed suddenly increase on 15/07/2013, this is the best I got.


OK, after that I change my Sim Card to Nanosim so that I can use 4G LTE, this is the best I got.


But average speed after using 4G LTE is as below, in between 15Mb/s to 25 Mb/s. Not much different with 3G download speed, but there is an increase in PING and Upload speed. Beside that, 4G signal is definitely stronger than 3G.



The above test is for your reference only, don't blame me if your speed is slower than mine, or don't LOL at me if your speed is faster than mine.

I use it in broadband. My phone couldn't support LTE.......

I am considering Sierra Aircard 760S, but it is not cheap.

1. According to Maxis website "You must be on either a nano-SIM or a micro-SIM." I am using Micro Sim, but you have to tell them that the reason you change your sim card is you want to use the 4G LTE service.

2. You have to wait for several hours, I forgot. If I am not mistaken, it's like 2 to 3 hours.

3. If you mean the sim card, yes you can get it immediately, but there is a charges for that. In my case, I was charged RM25 in my following monthly bill.

4. No adapter provided, you have to buy it at phone shop.
