This is interesting. Does IP Mart offer LG Malaysia warranty then? Interesting to see how it develops, especially based on Hotspot's recent FB postings.

Seems that whether the N4 can last longer or not is also partly dependent on the type of cpu binning you get with your phone. Reading on XDA, some of the kernel developers say that those with faster chips should have better battery out of the box compared to nominal or slow chips.

I have a faster chip, and to date, i have no complaints about the battery. For my usage, it can last a day.

I can't think of a way, as you need to root your phone to run terminal emulator with superuser rights to check. Maybe there is another way but i am not aware of it. For now, it just depends on your luck.

But i must stress it is by no means conclusive. Just based on what I read. No 'inferior' or 'superior' chips here i feel

Zeus, I believe the rattle noise is near the rear camera part correct? I understand it to be normal, something to do with the auto focus part of the camera. I have it on my phone too

So sorry to hear that. Even if its a LG Msia set, i don't think its under warranty. Best hope is to send to LG and see how much would it cost to replace it.

Thanks, good info. Saw that your phone barely heats up when gaming. On need for speed mine feels hot, even when running harsh low kernel. Must be more than just low UV. Have to experiment more!

I got this from ebay. My recommendation is NOT to get it. Its just hard, cheap plastic. When i took it out, already had scratches on the case. Not worth it in my opinion. Came with a screen protector which was cut wrongly for the front of the N4 too

No worries. If you want a clear back, you may consider the Ringke Fusion case, which is not available yet. Or get a bumper and stick some protective sheet over the back.
