Unfair calculation though. That price is for the 8gb. Since the MYR version is 16gb you should use the 16gb US price which is 349 so the calculation will be like this.

USD 349 X 3.1 = RM1081.9 + RM300 + RM100 = 1481.90

if you are already unlocked, you can always try a different kernel and restore the stock kernel if you want to revert back. BTW, the stock kernel is pretty good, use bbs to find out what is draining your phone on idle. If you have the hsic wakelock, then using a hsic patched kernel would help.

By the way, anyone experience the sudden increase of temperature when using 3G?
Mine from temperature 26C raise up to 39C+ when using 3G.
Wifi = around 25C+-
2G = around 30C+- (casual game also at around 30-35C)
3G = raise more than 38C+++
