Hmm, been trying out various different kernels to fix my HSIC wakelock issue but no dice so far. I somehow didn't really get it the past couple of weeks but it's shown up the past 3 or 4 days.

Any kernel (or kernel version) to recommend?

Yeap, have tried that. Was my first flashed kernel on my N4. Alternated between that and motley but somehow, the same thing. The past few days i've been getting HSIC wakelocks.

Could it possibly be the rom? AFAIK, this is a kernel issue but it couldn't hurt to try a fresh flash since the only real difference from before and now are new version of my rom. Tried the same versions of previous kernels but to no avail.

how about trinity kernel??

If i'm not mistaken I tried that before, not sure why I changed back to motley/Franco though. I remember motley was working really well for me up until a few days ago. Was really good before that.

Any ideas on why I suddenly have this wakelock on these kernels?

from what I have read, you are seeing this intermittently? can you tie it to a specific action that you do? hsic wakelocks occurs when data connection is turned on, and it shouldn't haunt you back after a few days of minimal hsic wakelocks. mind sharing your setup?

Current setup. Was on Franco for the past 2-3 days, just changed to this. Maybe I'll see if it stabilizes over the next couple of days first.
