First month bill is already paid via advance payment for Digi Smart Plan. If you cancel anytime before the first billing cycle, it won't be pro-rated. However, according to Digi Centre staff, if you cancel the Digi Smart Plan at any point after the first billing cycle they will pro-rate the charges of the specific month and not charge you the full month's bill. You should know that Digi will charge you a RM100 administrative fee if you terminate their Smart Plan within 3 months of subscription. I have inquired further but have not been given any satisfactory answer as to why termination after 3 months would not incur an administration fee of RM100.

There is still an advance payment of the first month's bill of RM68 even if you subscribe to their Zero Contract. If Zero Contract, one should not be forced or required to sign up with Digi.

Did you try to purchase the Nexus 4 through their online store? If you try buying through any Digi Centre, you'd have to pay an advance payment of RM68.

This says there is no advance payment of RM68 for the first month, proving your claim.

However, I have paid the advance payment yesterday to Digi Centre and I was issued a receipt too.

I was told you need not do that @ Digi Centre, Alamanda, but having come across this thread and reading one poster's experience made me aware that this may not necessarily hold true.

I have not terminated my Digi Smart Plan yet.
