Talking on fuel, my 408NA had some 'hiccups' last 2weeks- this is just after 10k service.
My engine had behaved rather erratically ( rpm interval jumping within small band) and its just like hiccups- for lack of word to describe.
Traced back n thought it might be contaminated fuel +water. Didn't remember which station but my lion really felt like "mabuk on whiskey" Anyhow, only able to bring in for servicing 1week later to Balakong SC. Service is pretty good & had left my lion overnite. SC cleaned up
the spark plugs and run some diagnostics. Found out there is some sort of carbon built up. There is no sensor error or any detection earlier though. Cut short, lion is now healthy & running about. Service is FOC.
I was suspecting fuel contamination that leads to incomplete burning hence carbon built up on spark plugs.Just wanting to know if other puggies had same issue on NA b4 n same mabuk like characteristics?
Plus, BHP for my lion tak ngam lah. Dunno why but not as smooth. Had been using Petron. Possibly sensor adapted to regular fuel pumped?
Something wrong with BHP leh. My motor auto shutdown itself everytime i stop at traffic lights. My engine had behaved rather erratically ( rpm interval jumping within small band) and its just like hiccups- for lack of word to describe.
