now my 207 is having the auto lighting problem, the auto system is not function. on the inform screen showing "auto lighting fault"
but before i send it back for the 1st service (2.5k service) my car auto system was ok, auto lighting function well. only the auto wiping some minor problem, after they tried to fix it but they didn't then the auto lighting can't function anymore. below are my car problems tat before i sent my car back to the first 2.5k service: 1. some abnormal knocking noise when driving 2. alignment not even 3. auto wiping is not auto functioning , it have to reset it manually every time, (but at least it still can work, better then now, now is the worst T_T) 4. stirring is supper hard, but when speed above 90/km it become supper light, it will easily self turn to a side if you don't hold the stirring properly. *to me this is very dangerous O_O" 5. car 'shakes'(i dunno whats the correct terms) very serious when above 100/km 6. the rear n back windscreen is totally blur, can't see through during at night, day time can see a bit but blur. i sent to car wash but the guy try to wipe it but he said in this condition need to do polish, cost about RM300+ 7. wiper can't wipe smoothly (this is still happen now) and another 2 more issues but can't remember at the moment xD |

QUOTE(lowpro @ Feb 15 2013, 12:25 PM) 4 - check tyre pressure. it is 240 for the 207. Hey lowpro glad to see u here, u r popular in peugeot thread hehe5 - check your tyre balancing. it could also be due to the car being new and the front springs have not settled down yet. this takes about 6 months. 7 - either the wiper blades need changing (i know it is a new car - go ask them to change anyway under warranty). or your wiper motor has some issues. Thanks for your advise! i will try on it,byte way, is the tyre pressure figure stated at the door gap of driving seat there? This post has been edited by rinnyrinny: Feb 15 2013, 02:00 PM |

i wonder any pug owner here having the same problem like my car do?
the wiper can't wipe smooth, i have sent to SC (twice) but still the same after service i suspect SC not even check it or didn't bother this issue. if the wiper go smooth the water mark line should be in nice straight curve. but mine can see a lot of "v" or "W" after wiper on This post has been edited by rinnyrinny: Feb 20 2013, 10:05 AM |

QUOTE(EnergyAnalyst @ Feb 20 2013, 11:34 AM) QUOTE(EnergyAnalyst @ Feb 20 2013, 11:32 AM) Never notice really but since the wipers swings open like spread eagle instead of left right left right, can it be the reason why it form V or W as its trail of water mark line? after wipe the water mark line as picture belowAttached thumbnail(s) |

QUOTE(lowpro @ Feb 22 2013, 03:42 PM) don't panic. for 207, fuel consumption WILL be high for at least 1 year or 20,000km. After that, it will slowly improve. just keep driving the car long distance and if can, drive it hard once in a while to run in the engine. oh i see, at the moment my car has ran about 4300kmnever thought it can better only after used for sometime thanks lowpro! QUOTE(EnergyAnalyst @ Feb 26 2013, 02:07 PM) Hi guys, sorry to change the subject, just a quick question/survey... I read somewhere that when your car is stationery at the traffic light waiting for green light, changing gear to N (neutral) is an advisable way to preserve longevity of your gearbox/prevent wear and tear. Is everyone here doing that? Some quarters said it is not good to do it, as if you are not careful, you end up hurting it more when you don't give it anough time to engage when your lights turn green and you hastily switch it to D,?! I know my NA gear is 4 speeder AL4 while Turbo is AT6, but from how I understand it, that doing it is advisable for any car (but I have read this sometime back, so not sure it apply for those DSGs too), Any Feedback? QUOTE(jfcheong @ Feb 26 2013, 02:29 PM) All the while I engage to N at traffic light. Just bcoz I lazy to hold the brake with my right leg regarding issue above, conclusion is better not to switch gear to N when your car is stationary waiting at traffic light? Those thing u mentioned earlier does make sense also, imagine ur car start accelerate before the gear box catch in the correct gear/ position, might hurt your gear box. It will be great to wait for maybe 0.5 second for the gear to hunt in correct position before release your brake pedal? Just my comment... Btw, I like your new avatar! |
