I'm new owner 408 NA, White. Nice to meet you all, peugeot 408 fans!!!

I'm Kelvin Chang, one of the owner 408NA. Also work as Allianz General Insurance authorized agent. Below is the ALLIANZ's AGREED VALUE for peugeot 408 (Year 2012).

1) 408 NA - RM 94,000
2) 408 Turbo - RM 108,000

There is 2 types of car sum insured in car insurance market.

a) Market value = compensate based on market value. For example: Initial Sum insured is RM94,000. Let say vehicle lost after 6 months from cover note issued and market value for this vehicle at that time is RM88,000 , then mostly insurance company will compensate to car owner just RM88,000. (Not full amount as initial sum insured)

b) Agreed value = compensate based on initial sum insured. For example: Initial Sum insured is RM94,000. If this vehicle lost whatever anytime within this cover year, company still compensate to car owner RM94,000 (full amount as same as initial sum insured)

Agreed value is more benefit to car owner.

Actually NA or Turbo is depend on you prefer to speed your 408 or not when you drive. For me, I no intend to drive fast at highway. And I also know the maintenance for NA is less than Turbo in the future. You can go for test drive for NA and turbo. I believe you will know which you want after you test drive (1st impression after test drive).

May I check with all of you, is 1st time inspection (2500km) is include tires balancing and alignment?

Peugeot got new promotion. Free installment for 8 mths. Do somebody know further info regarding this? Term and condition?

Did you received 5 yrs free service booklet/ voucher when you take your car? How to prove that you r enjoy free service when you send your car to service center later without booklet?

Still under warranty? If no, what is the cost to change a new battery?

ladies and gentlemen, Just want to check wf you. Today I found something special on my car. My car radio can on when I switch on radio power without engine start? It means I have not insert my car key into ignition on. Is it normal? How come radio can function if enjine have not start? Pls advise. Thx

Yes, I also get this rebate amount. But this rebate cannot enjoy 5 yrs free service.

What is the Original brand of your car battery? Yokohama or Delco?

What is the final price after discount 10k? Now promotion is rm95,000 without insurance.

I took 5 yrs free maintenance package. Total 5 yrs maintenance service cost around 10k.

Where is the shop located? Selangor area?

With insurance? With insurance, it is really a good deal.
