Just found a issue an rear windows.

done my first 10k service at CSL
complain on the rear windows rubber, n they need claim it from nasim, have to wait the new part arrive.
and ask them check the bat, they said still healthy, just do a service on it. saw them take out the bat but dun know what they doing.
n the SA told me the 2.0 bat is not maintenance free type, but for 1.6t yes, true?
so he ask me have to check the bat water.

engine died while slow down at traffic light today
but able to start back immediately, then everything back to normal
should i send the car to sc?
this accident same as my previous wira..... always died while slow down the car

my car hv to stay glenmarie sc tonight
engine died again after traffic light, this time unable to start back
have to tow back to sc.
break down at 3:30PM, n call to careline
technician reach at 5:30PM, they cant settle, then arrange tow truck.
tow truck reach at 7:40PM
nearly 9PM only settle my car at sc
tired~~~~

yes 4 hours! luckily i'm alone not with family
out side temp is 38c showed at display
after i stop my car at road side, actually i able start the car, but while rpm reah 2k then engine died, few tried but no luck.
then call to careline, i told them the situation n mention to them not like a bat problem, request tow, but they ask me wait technician to check 1st.
after technician arrive, he try to start n knew cant do any thing with this, just call back to center request towing.

while i'm waiting our technician, police setup road block in front few meter of me....
the police come to me,
police: kenapa berhenti disini?
me: kereta rosak
police: betul keh? (look like not trust me)
me: betul, tak tadap start
police: kereta baru?
me: ya baru 6 bulan.
police: ok

after 40min+-, police come again
police: u ada call foreman tak?
me: sudah call
police: ok

another 15min come again
police: u punya foreman tak datang lagi?
me: yalo
police: kita sudah mau balik, good luck

yes like what u said - dangerous, lucky my car still able slowly move to road side.

ok....my car still in SC now
what they did:
test the bat, bat no problem
reset ECU, but no work
clean the valve body, no work
found a error from computer, engine speed sensor faulty, replace a new sensor. also no work.
until now, dun know what is the problem.
n tomorrow they will check for the BSI n others, actually i dun know what is that.
still the same, engine start, no problem below 2k rpm...
a felling.....they cant fix it tomorrow or monday.
so wat to do? just wait........

my car stil in ward, dun know what the problem yet
changed speed sensor, bat, throttle body, air intake....

yesterday 3PM some thing i called to ask the status, the service adviser told me they found the problem from throttle body, and has order and replace it. have wait them to test the car, n tomorrow morning means today can collect back my car.
so today morning i call to confirm it. i call from 8:30am the reception just ask me wait n leave msg will call back me, but never call back, transfer the line here n thr, said system show still in progress, need my SA check for me.... until 12pm only told me my SA on leave today.
then another service adviser go n check for me, n told me she ask technician to test the car, due to lunch hour, have to wait technician came back to test it, after 2 hours i call again. she told me the problem still thr. since the time already 4pm, definitely i unable collect my car today....
the thing is, if i no call to ask, they just leave my car thr, without do any thing.

courtesy car? i ask n request, but he said no.
i saw a 408 2.0 park inside workshop, he told me already 1 month, waiting replacement part.

the SA told me, after changed the air intake, the engine died when reach 5k rpm, before is 2k rpm

here the parts they changed
speed sensor, RM70 ++
bat, RM450++
air intake, RM3600++, what is this?
i ask him to show me,but he said all part was assembly back under cover so unable to show..... and the air intake is included throttle body, simple explanation from him, this is cause by the air intake cracked.....

NA only has 1 remote control, the spare key without remote.
but i remember my SA told me we still able use spare key to start the car.

skyblu3, he told me for my case can be manufacturing defect, and this is first time they change the intake on 408, never happened before.
luckily got stock for it, else dun know how long i need to wait.
