Wow, all the complaints be scare me. Need to pray hard that I get a perfect car this week.
In 2010, about 10 units of the latest Ferrari 458 Italia caught fire at multiple locations around the world resulting in a major worldwide recall. That incident didnt affect Ferrari's reputation at all. So if a supercar like Ferrari can have such major problems, what are a few problems that you may face with your new Peugeot? doh.gif

Every car will have its share of problems. Some more than others. But what's more important is the after sales service and the ability of the SC to fix those problems in the shortest of times with minimal cost without inconveniencing the owner too much.

the AT8 is a 4-speed transmission which is an evolution of the AL4. so, the sticker still shows AL4. it is still related to each other. or maybe they just have excess stickers.

you would need to install the whole nose section plus the wire harness and a new ecu. even the wire harness of the standard 308turbo and the 308turbo griffe are different.

Any different between the 308 Turbo and 308 griffe? In term of performance.

performance wise 100% same. key (and most expensive change) highlights are the directional, smoked front xenon lamps with headlamp washers. then there is body kit, rim (same size but different design) and interior trim changes.

If I may say so, I think your gf has good taste, that is why she choose u?  icon_rolleyes.gif

Being an NA owner myself, I have not encountered squeaky brake prob so far, however when it gets wet, yes it is there, but it is the same for all car's disc brakes system, am told. Just try to run them dry after washing or after going through puddle of water/rains, etc.

if u want to stop them completely you can try bring 4 table fans, and fan all 4 wheels pointing at the brakes, to quickly dry them but i never try them, so don't know if will work.

My Light sensor and rain sensor is so far 90% accurate, the 10% is really sometimes, it takes a wee bit longer to activate, but that is fine for me as I am a patient man (once you upgrade from Bf-gf to Hubby Wifey status, u too will improve your patience I believe)

care to elaborate what do u mean wiper not wipe off rain effectively? Pug is designed for LHD, but u can see which gear you engage still from display in front of you, don't just see it from gear box ?

Suspension of 2.0 is comfortably set (nice as opposed to naughty) hence it is fitted with higherprofile tyres than Turbo , and the trade off is in comparison with Mazda, VW, or bimmer , it is more floaty per se. FC ? well one thing is 4 speeder Gear, another is the curb weight, so I only compare them to perhaps other 2.0 NA with 4 speeder of close similar curb weight, and afraid that combi makes it quite hard to compare with other seg C because the weight is almost a D seg car...I accept it as trade off for VERY ROOMY CAR (wheel base >2700 mm)

Been driving the 408t for a few weeks now. After the initial heavy footing and trying out the turbo, am leaning towards a more conservative auto cruise driving to and for to work.

Just hit 2000km on it and the fuel consumption is down to 9.6l/100km. Average speed 40 kmph.

Otherwise -

Pros - the seat is damn comfortable. Very ergonomic esp for hour long drives and dont feel as tired as I used to. Leather feels good... in a non kinky way.

Pros - the braking has been near perfect. No issues.

Pros- the turbo is just nice. Easy to overtake and easy to leave the annoying waja trying to cucuk you, vey far behind.

Pros - the auto light s work to a tee, as do the windscreen wipers, albeit having to manually turn on the wipers initially.

Pros - the little things like the comfort of the leather steering, the lights positions esp the one below the door and near the pedals.

Pros - actually quite happy with the c75 tinting. Car doesnt feel hot at all and the seats are not roasting in the sun.

Cons - no paddle shift. Adei...

Cons - the audio system sucks. Hopefully they provide a rm 1-2k upgrade system for it. Its just ridiculous for the amount of price we paid for the car, such a shabby device is given. From bluetooth to ipod connectivity, it just sucks eggs... bollocks.

Uhm yea... my thoughts so far.

Also keep seeing a pug turbo with plate W** *999 on banting road towards klang daily... anyone here ah?
