Silicone for RM230? If it can last more than 3 years and more efficient then still acceptable. I'm too used to silicone wiper (those RM 38 per pair) in my Toyota and when using rubber on 408 especially at night + glaring... really difficult to drive.

Let me check with Puchong SC this Saturday on the price  hmm.gif

Yeap our viper are silicon as I been told. And my cousin 308 got her changed last few week ago cost like 180 one side! But ori. Salesman told me there are some compatible silicon outside already half the price, just need to find where. Anyone change before? Pls share drool.gif

Btw read warranty book today... It say we have " a maximum allowance of 500km or 14 days, on either side, of the mileage/ date stipulated for the various service recommended." icon_rolleyes.gif

technically yes but 408T is heavier than 308T by a whole lot

so the gain is negated.

That's true for heavy foot. I too get about 460km for 53L. I don't really bother about FC, rather enjoy the car!

actually, to be realistic, you can't expect hybrid or kancil sorts of economy. even what is posted in brochures MUST be taken with a pinch of salt simply because those tests are done in controlled conditions. like what Skyjack and EP6CDTM said, just enjoy the car and don't think too much. otherwise, you'd be fretting all the small things.

Just curious. I remember quite a while ago owners were saying that gear changes constantly at 2600rpm. Is it still the same now after months of ownership, or has the gearbox adapted to your driving style ie gear change dynamically

it is supposed to be adaptive

if you're heavy footed it will delay gear changes

otherwise it will change faster if you're light footed

I admit heavy footer. But that FC is 100% city drive bro... considered not bad le.
If for my driving style, mixture city n highway drive, heavy foot. I can only get 500km per 53L.
