QUOTE(Elaine.y202 @ Oct 25 2013, 03:07 PM) Hai, just want to ask.. if we choose the 5 years free service. Then we change the battery at outside, so will void the 5 years warraty ? Can anyone let me know ? 5 yrs free service has nthg to do with your batt warranty.Batt have only 1 yr or 20k km warranty. Just change outsite if ur batt after warranty. |

QUOTE(SKYjack @ Oct 26 2013, 04:40 PM) Leave all lights, interior + exterior and radio on over night! Plug a portable high wattage light to battery and leave this overnight. All these should drain your battery. Yup good idea but dont do it on weekends.Happened to me today ...battery dead only after 10k service last wednesday..Worst part no technicians to change battery...suggest by careline tow to sc change on monday....what kind of service is that...Call century battery asst.. to change..cost 290 |

That's a good reminder. Ppl might think do it on the weekend cos no need to go to work. Btw if you have your old battery, try a claim since you have valid warranty.Call century battery asst.. to change..cost 290 |

QUOTE(x800 @ Oct 26 2013, 05:24 PM) Thats assuming the system doesnt go into eco mode and automatically turns everything off after a few minutes.. I think the system will go into Eco mode. This mode is to reduce battery discharge, but discharge will still continue if charge source is not restored. I need the circuit diagram to positively say what shuts down and what stays on. Cabin lights will definitely shut off. If the headlights are considered essential service, then they will stay on.The ECU has no control on a direct connection to the battery,ie a heavy duty outdoor fan. Thus the battery will eventually drain off. This post has been edited by SKYjack: Oct 27 2013, 10:28 AM |

Oh boy this gonna bite! Replacement keys can be bought only at SC. Key has to coded and will cost nothing less than 1K,just my guess. I'm not sure SCs can do the keys codes, but they can certainly help you get a spare key.and may i know the price as well..thanks |

Yup, and based on experience, I can confirm that in eco mode the radio, cabin lights, 12v socket outlet and usb will be disabled. Dont know about headlamps tho.I need the circuit diagram to positively say what shuts down and what stays on. Cabin lights will definitely shut off.
