Hehehe.........I know the exact feeling. I was like almost the 1st to book this car. The timing was perfect for me. I was in the market for a car last year. Just about that time, 408t with the right price and great spec was announced. I booked this car the day the doors opened at Naza in PJ. However 4 bros here got their cars before me. To make it worst,SA told me my car waiting in the showroom. Man....was I going crazy,anxiety to the max! Finally got my car 6days later.

Reason: Waiting on paperwork to be finalized on my successful tender on number...

Sorry to hear that.. my case almost similar but my SA willing to help holding even though he kept saying the overtrade discount ends at 28th February, keep forcing me to take the number plate which I don't want, in the end I told him, if can't just cancel off my purchase.. so in the end also waited until I get my number plate which is a week later..they keep telling the promotion ends need to close the deal and etc...

Coz when I book my car I told him I need to get BMB so no matter how I'm going to wait.. besides, I bought the number plate myself at jpj, so I told him if I can't get BMB just cancel off my booking..since the bank still holding large amount of money so if he pissed me I'll just cancel, end of story..haha

Wow what a major f##kup. Frankly I wouldn't mind the motorbike deal by the manager. You can do the number exchange your self later,it's not difficult. You'll have a free bike which comes in handy,just to run to the shop or some small errands.

Those who have bought 408NA and 408T must be frustrated man..

Parts n labour included for scheduled maintenance items.

I dun own a 408 but previously calculated the cost to service up to 100k km is about 8k..so the best deal is to take 3k plus 5 years free maintenace which total up to about 11k

I would rather tahan one more month. Hahaaa...

then i'll pity the last batch of camry buyers .. 20k cash discount to clear stock

8k over trade is nothing if compare with 5 years free maintenence, go grap it becaus rthe decision is still on your hand, PEOGUET maintenance is not cheap at all, considering it is a conti car which is slightly cheaper than German marque.

Simply said: enjoy now and suffer later OR suffer now and enjoy later, you still enjoy few buck discount when you buy the car, the answer is pretty obvious..

I just had my car serviced this morning at glenmarie.

1. Made a booking early April for 3.5.2013. Got a call 2.5.2013 saying they have to postpone due to manpower. I agreed. Appointment changed to 7.5.2013
2. Received call on4.5.2013 asking me to postpone to next month. My fire shot up to my head....insisted my car to be serviced next day as I don't want to risk having my car serviced at more than 20500km that could void warranty. Reason to postpone bcos they have conference. Damn bloody upset. Phone was disconnected and on,y received a call an hour later to say that she has to check with service advisor and will get back to me on the booking number.
3. On the 7.5.2013 10am. Received call from sc asking me whether I am arriving o not. Told the lady that my booking has changed to 8.5.2013 due their conference. And her colleague din bother to call me back for the booking number.she gave me the number immediately and ask me what time I will be arriving. I said 8.30am.
4. 8.5.2013. Arrived at 8.15am. No one was there. Waited until 8.45am before seeing a senior technician and consulted him to press the queue number for me.
5. Settled the registration and start waiting.
6. By 10.40am my car was still parking at the same spot. (Meanwhile I saw many clients came later than me has left with their cars serviced.)
7. Super tulan, so I went straight to the sa and ask him what happened. He was stunned and went to look for the service technician. By then only the service technician came to take my car for service.
8. The service was completed at 11.45am. I was charged 1.4hour labour charge. Now only I realised this. Damn!!!!
9. Complained steering loose. Tightened up.
10. Complained noise at right rear door. Said replaced door trim but I can't tell the difference.
11. Complained about power loss for seconds..it's written at the service sheet that software was updated.(my Bluetooth was able to connect immediately upon start engine.) not sure this has anything related to it or not but I suspect that guy didn't update the software. What is the first version of software and now is there any updated version?
12. Overall experience. Found myself stepped into a dung and regret now.
Accompanied waifs few times to KIA centre and I have t admit, their service is way better. No booking required.

Based on the service schedule, we have bout 10 services for 5 years or 100k milleage. Guys correct me if I am wrong on the cost coz I haven't had my first service yet, there will be around 7 regular services which costs bout 400++ and 3 major service? Which let's say we estimate to be 2k per service. That is already bout RM8.8k

So RM8.8k plus another 3k overtrade is a very very good deal. I'll take the latest promotion if I were you.
