QUOTE(eusened @ Sep 30 2013, 05:44 PM) Finally got back my car after escalation and escalation to make them work faster. I have also made a complain at Peugeot (France) facebook and I got a reply from them. (Refer to the picture) A private message has been sent and also provided them this forum link for them read through. Hope Peugeot will do good to us and make some changes. As we love this car so much and dont wish to see Nasim to bring this into ashes. Will keep you guys updated. can you share the job order? we'd like to see what was replaced and how long it took?

QUOTE(jfcheong @ Oct 3 2013, 10:13 AM) Thanks bro, good to hear that. Where u got this info? french has included the features back in the 90s, you can see wires on top of the brake fluid cover and brake calipers. it is just a simple "sensor". when fluid level is low, the wires will touch and gives signal to the ECU to display the error

QUOTE(@Henry@ @ Oct 2 2013, 11:26 PM) Luckily I got the free 5yrs/100k km service... good and bad there. good - 0 fees for run and maintain for 5 years and it covers inflation or price increase at SC. bad - we've got more cash discount to offset the loan amount

QUOTE(SKYjack @ Oct 3 2013, 09:15 AM) This is good lesson for me. Next time I won't be the 1st to book a new model no matter how good or how bad I need a car. Will wait till the sales promo start. but you can't "show off" your new ride. others will be showing off their cars earlier

QUOTE(jfcheong @ Oct 3 2013, 10:30 AM) Yeah... so that I dont need to ask the tyremen help me check the brake pad condition on next tyre service. or you can wait until the brake pad hums, that's the last signal to get it changed

QUOTE(jfcheong @ Oct 3 2013, 10:44 AM) I dont wish to wait until then. Had a bad experience on worn pad on my previous car that nearly damage the disc. Any idea usually the brake pad can last for how long? very subjective. smaller cars and lots of highway will last like 200k kms, a higher performance model and lots of hill driving will last 50% or lesser mileage. my best guess is something like 100k kms and get your $$$ ready.

QUOTE(dchan126 @ Oct 3 2013, 01:06 PM) Is it sure can last 100k? My friend driving 308T mileage 120k has changed the brake pad twice and he said is going to change third time soon. Average 40k per brake pad average vs actual, results may vary my ex-conti lasted around 200k kms before i replaced the front pads

QUOTE(imifun @ Oct 4 2013, 11:48 AM) Need some advice please: I am csl for my 40k km service and was told that my brake disk has damaged and my brake pad is almost habis. The cost to change the brake pad is rm588 and both brake disk is rm606 plus rm171 for labor! The thing is that, when imsent my car for the 30k km service, shouldnt the technical xpert check all those things and advise whether i should change the brake pad? If thats the case, can i claim warranty since its not my fault... And i was reading somewhere that there will be an indication if my brake pads are worn out? Tq brakes and disks are wear and tear boss until the pads really wear out, the indicator won't lit and normally too late to react edi RM588 for the front alone?

when fuel is low, there is possibility of air presence in the fuel line and your check engine light will light up.
no big problem just that you'll need to go back to Nasim to get it removed.

QUOTE(SKYjack @ Oct 9 2013, 09:44 AM) Your Lion is a heavier car with a bigger engine than the Vios. The heavier your are the more energy needed to get moving. 408s city FC will never match Vios. However cos of it's efficient engine,if you are light footed, urban drive can return good FC! with 2k rpm running 100km/h, the "almight" vios is nowhere near

85kmh is the "optimum" speed for best FC from the EP6CDTM engine + aisin gearbox.
6th gear and 2k rpm.
that's how you get good FC.
