I'm now using Petronas.

I've tried both BHP and Petronas and felt both gave the more or less the same mileage on my French car.

Petpetnas is only supplying Euro2M petrol and you'll be suprised on how they operate their refineries down south whistling.gif

Think I told you sometime back,I'm looking at turbo diesel on the long run. So will not be spending money to chip this car.
*
you can also chip that 200hp/450Nm diesel monster to 240hp/530Nm cool2.gif

this is an open forum. if anyone think our bulk purchase is not worthwhile, nobody is pointing a gun and force you to buy, am i right guys?

some one here obviously bought his kit elsewhere and there are plenty of imitation goods out there. feel free to ask the batch 1 users if they can peel their insulation kit like you or not.

peugeot had install P-shape insulation rubber at the bottom of the door. if you add more, maybe that explains why your door cannot close. a proper kit is 23 metres of big D like we've discussed much earlier. 16m D and 6m P is not tailored for the car.

do you know i lost RM1k in batch 2 order and paypal is still reviewing my case?

It's our suspension setup. I wrote about this sometime back. Back track and you'll find it.

Yup. Harder springs to cope with additional power delivery from the THP engine.

Jetta's are also very "bumpy" if you compare to a japanese equivalent.

After i've installed the insulation kit on my french toast i didn't feel any difference.
When i drive over speed breakers, i can still the loud roar from the road/tyres. rclxub.gif
*
kinda hard for me to tell if you did your insulation correctly or your french toast is already very quiet compared to 408Vti and 408THP sold here.

maybe you can join us during our next TT and we can investigate further.

did you try to speed up after your installation? it should help to reduce wind noise intrusion at higher speed too.

and to top up my findings with my own 408, tyre noise somehow appeared "louder" as the insulation strips reduced the amount of wind noise at all speeds.

if you want to reduce tyre noise, the next step will be coating your wheel wells and add bitumen strips to your floor board and boot area.
