I would be very careful and watch the temperature gauge. Never let the engine overheat! Once you've cooked this engine,it's very difficult to get back to normal condition. No matter how much repair,it may never be the same! It's very sensitive and a overheated block just does not behave normal.

Thanks for your info. Really appreciate it.

I've just drop off my car at SC for them to check. Didnt want to take the risk of driving it.
But because of walk-in, my car have to wait either till this evening or tomorrow morning to check.

Hopefully they can resolve this quickly or i'll be a sitting duck without my legs (ride) laugh.gif

You are most welcome bro. I know you bought the car just a few months back and didn't want you to face all the mess if you ignore the problem which is actually small. But it's got the potential to turn into something serious if ignored. Hope it's a quick fix. Good luck!

Hey bros, just collected my car. If you didn't know, my temperature sensor was faulty. According to the Technician Advisor, there will be a recall for certain batch to change the Temperature sensor. Not only 408T but other THP models as well. I think 2.0NA is not included.

He told me to ignore the letter for recall since i have already change it.

So, heads up for u guys.

I guess it's a faulty batch. Glad you'll have your ride back soon.

I'm also glad it was a quick diagnosis and fix. It shows efforts are made to improve customer support and service. Efforts like these will certainly improve RV of Pugs. Just recently a potential owner was wondering if he should buy the Pug. He likes the Pug but previously has bad taste of Naza service.

I hope we continue to see the improvement trend!

All you need to do is push a little. Actually i have made an appointment for next tuesday coz their appointment is full till then. But just reason with them, if possible they can squeeze you in. Nothing is promised but i just went ahead to try my luck.

I have to say Kota Damansara Service Centre did a great job!

My battery died on me saturday nite. Mileage is abt 18k 10 months car. The bad thing is i was in penang. Came up from KL for a short weekend trip. The worst experience i got was from Peugeot Careline. I called them informing them of my situation and they arrange a tow truck to bring my car to the Jelutong center. The guy from careline told me that the service center is open on Sunday half day. I was skeptical so i confirm with him again about this coz i told him i needed to head back to KL on sunday. He confirm that the service center is open for half day.

After putting my car at the Center, i called again to confirm. Because my gut feel tells me it doesnt open on Sunday. But again he says sure open for half day. So this morning i went at 9.30 and to my horror, even the sales office is only open at 10am (sunday). I called up Careline again in the morning and i spoke to another person regarding this. This time the new person told me Service center is close on sundays. Pwahhh....i exploded! I gave this new person the wrath of my anger. But i still cannot do anything about it. I wanted to just find a mechanic to change to battery outside. But i remember when they jump start my car that night, my steering felt very heavy. The new careline person says they can jump start for me and i can drive back all the way to KL. But with the heavy steering issue i think better not. I 'll stay another in Penang and hopefully tomolo morning they can rectify the battery and power steering asap so i can go back to KL. All the best to me tongue.gif

Seriously, peugeot better get ppl with more knowlegde abt their services.

I managed to jump start my car and drove to change the batt.
Msg pop up after I jump start my car stated that power steering malfunction. The steering is abit heavier than usual. And the air con keep shut down and kick in. Luckily it was just around 10mins drive, I felt so uncomfortable and not safe.
Good that u didnt drive all the way from Penang to KL.

Here is the what happen today. Got to the Jelutong SC at 8.30am. Straight told the service advisor what happen, and immediately my car was look at. It was the Low Battery that cause the heavy steering. Change to Delkor Battery and system check. Everything was good. I left the SC before 10am. Super fast service there. Maybe because not a lot of cars. The service bay is wasn't full. About 3 - 4 cars only.

I'm actually pretty happy with the 408t driving. Just sometimes is the service given that is under par.

Oh, one more thing. The Service advisor told me that the new battery warranty follows the old one. Example like if my old battery warranty expires next January, this new battery warranty last till then only. Really meh? I didnt press further about this as i have to rush back to KL. Anyone can confirm this?
